The first character to emerge from the Dark Isles
Professor Gremlyn (level 4 wizard and Keeper of the Key of the Book of Power)

The Guild Registrar and keeper of the Key to the Book of Power, is a curious character known as Professor Gremlyn. The Professor is, at first, an unusual sight; despite his otherwise human appearance, he has a pale blue cast to his skin, a shock of thick hair so dark it almost seems purple against the egg-shell skin. His ears could be elven, he wears a pair of spectacles and he favours a dark leather duster and a silver-capped black walking cane.

Gremlin whiskey - now that sounds tasty and something I can drop into the game!:-) It was something that another character of mine from a Serenity game brewed on board ship. It was all sorts of useful from lubricating relationships, to cleansing wounds, Molotov cocktails, emergency fuel replacement... That's one of the things I love about building characters is giving them a hobby unrelated to their chosen profession and then building the skill as the game progresses. When they retire they have a built in fall back profession. Edit: Molotov thingytails?! oh, dear gods above...
