A UK Troll Con is being mooted. The first one to be a smallish gathering (probably), maybe in November. One idea to defray costs is to raffle stuff to cover room hire etc. I was thinking of getting full colour prints of TrollsZine done as raffle prizes. I would not benefit financially from this (in fact, it would cost me). Autographs available if the winner wanted Would this be going against the spirit of TrollsZine (a freely produced fanzine with freely donated material) or is it an acceptable way of using the zine? Views welcomed. Cheers!

Given that the purpose is to cover costs for a con which will hopefully increase awareness of T & T, I think that it's a fine idea.
However, there is no material of mine in TrollsZine at this point. People who have donated their work may feel differently, although I suspect that most if not all will be fine with the idea. In an ideal situation, you would get approval for this from all contributors, but that may not be feasible.

Personally I don't see a problem with doing that.

An advertising campaign disguised as a raffle? Great idea!
No objections whatsoever.

I have no objections at all to a magazine containing my material being used in this way.
