Grabbed some of the T&T Adventure Dice from Amazon. Probably overpaid. Been wanting these though.

Eh, that picture did not work for me gringnr! Thought I noted an error in the punctuation of the code and fixed it. Tried it in a second browser and - nope! Seems my browsers, Vivaldi and Safari on Mac, are tripping over the domain 'img.fae.ro' as not being private due to an expired security certificate rather than a punctuation error of the inserted code. So, I've snagged the image and attached it to the thread. Apologies, the quality is slightly lower due to file size restrictions on the 'board.

The picture I posted loads for me, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Thanks, though!

Okay, so I just bought this 5.5 box set off Ebay. I'm waiting for delivery now. I thought at first that the dice were "demonhead" dice, which is actually why I bought the box. But I may have been to hasty, as a closer look has me wondering what design this actually is, or if it's a Flying Buffalo design at all? viva , you have any idea? I can, of course, post better pics when I actually get the product.

Well looks like a balrog, (see wings) casting a spell?

Well looks like a balrog, (see wings) casting a spell? Yeah, I almost feel like I've seen the design before, but can't quite place it. But upon looking at it, I wouldn't have assumed it was a T&T design if it weren't for the circle around the design.

When I worked the Flying Buffalo booth at GenCon in 2019, there were all sorts of crazy dice. Knights of the Dinner Table dice, old versions of Adventure Dice, Pizza Dice*, and LOTS of simple-skull Death Dice. Either Webbed Sphere or Rebellion Unplugged has these, both the booth inventory and whatever was lying around the warehouse. It will be interesting to see how they are deployed. * I should get in a plug here for Dicey Business. I wrote this book as a bonus for the Adventure Dice / Pizza Dice Kickstarter. It has rules for a game to play with Pizza Dice, ideas for using Adventure Dice, and some suggestions for variant die throws. For $0.99, it's a bargain. I make about $0.32 for each PDF sold. preview.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/241841/Dicey-Business

As best as I can tell it's very similar to the dice in viva 's fourth post on the first page of this thread, the middle pic. I'm not sure if the logo had a reference name - like the Vital Spots graphic - but you can see what appears rather similar to my eye over here on the cover of the Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls GM Screen

I often wondered what to do with pizza dice. The mix of possible flavours was... interesting.
Completely off topic, but when I was buying such things I had a nice set of "dinosaur dice". It came with a little set of rules; you could use them as ordinary D6, but if you rolled a 3 (had a picture of a Tyrannosaurus) you had to discard a die. It had been eaten.

Sorry but not T&T dice. They are Necromancer Games Orcus logo dice. You can see a blog about them here:
I asked the same question when that listing went up and got the answer here: www.facebook.com/groups/rpgcbg/posts/846266540324095/The seller thought they were T&T but I did message them and tell them they weren't (they didn't reply). I have bought from that seller a few times before and always was good so not sure what happened there. If you only bought it for the dice I would ask them to cancel or return it, depending on your offer price. That set was in good condition but worth about $75. I got a similar condition set for $40 recently (just cause it had a version of the bumper sticker I didn't have) and I even got a shrink set for $91 a few months ago. Those were both pretty good deals but just examples on the low end to justify my $75 assessment.

I overpaid but not enough that I'm gonna worry about it. Besides, the Necromancer dice are kind of cool, even if they weren't what I thought at first. And I'm not gonna return, because this was all on me lol. Besides, I'm happy to have another 5.5 box. Thank you for all the info!
