That entire world book is incredible. You must be exhalted!
Make sure you put your name on it...that is your copy-righted work you know!

I agree wholeheartedly with feldrik. Slap your name on the top of that beauty.
I really like the Saving Roll guideline on the character sheet. ;D
EDIT: Oh! And another well-deserved Exalt!

Many thanks Feldrik and Mach, I don't know why I'm always forgetting to put my name on things...

But wait, there's more... hogscape.googlepages.com/shippingWhen I started on this project, in the back of my mind I had an idea that characters might acquire their own ship and go island-hopping like characters in a star-spanning Traveller game might go planet-hopping. This section gets me a bit closer to that thought. As usual, I'd love to see feedback and suggestions. When I've ironed out the bumps it will appear in version 1.1 of The Dark Isles campaign supplement - which will then be finally finished!!!!!!!!! ;D

When I've ironed out the bumps it will appear in version 1.1 of The Dark Isles campaign supplement - which will then be finally finished!!!!!!!!! Ok, that's the Campaign Supplement - until you have another cool idea and need to issue v. 1.2. ;D And then there's the Islands Supplement with a seperate page devoted to each of the ~ 100 islands. Then there's the Ships and Sailors Supplement showing ships with deck plans and ships and sailors of note. Let's not forget the Mages Guild Registration Supplement detailing the accurate and not-so-accurate fact and gossip about the mages guild, newly discovered spells, mages of note and history of the guild. The Kindred Supplement wherein the Skiven and other unique kindred are featured. Then, just when you think there can't be any more you come across a dusty tome The Dark Isles Campaign - Across the Dark Waters: An Expose of the Dark Continent. Oh, you have so much fun ahead!

Later, all complied into one massive tome. The Dark Isles: In Depth. In depth. Har! I slay me.

You two make me larf, ya salty sea dawgs. You're just leagues ahead of me!
But no! After this bit is done, that's it. I'm just playing!
Definitely. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Hogscap...Don't let this derail things but what are you using for your web page? I have been toying with the notion of having a "My Favorite Games" site. Thanks

Feldrik, I'm using Google Pages. It's brilliant for me (I have no HTML skills) but sadly Google is converting all of it's 'Pages Sites' to Google Sites which is more blog-like and arcane in it's use and presentation. I will switch it to iWeb when I get around to it... :-)

I have been toying with the notion of having a "My Favorite Games" site. For those with a little more technical inclination there is Freeshell at www.freeshell.org. It's a great place where for $1 U.S. you can create a Unix shell account and have a website as well. For a one time fee of $36 U.S. you have a lifetime membership on the service which includes ftp access to your account and a lot more. I finally got tired of using the Unix shell to upload and move my files around and, after three years of using the unix console, sprung for the lifetime membership. I like it because there are no adverts. What I program in the HTML is exactly what shows up on the screen. For the price it's an excellent deal. I'm familiar with HTML and have some experience in console work via DOS. As such, I was able to work with the system well enough to do what I wanted. We now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast: Dark Isles - The Return of the Skiven.

Sigh. I've updated all the files - mostly a tidy-up of typos but some careful rewrites of one or two ambiguous spells. A more intuitive way to deal with monster saving rolls but that's about it. There may but some more revision work if I (or others) spot errors but otherwise, this part of the project is finished. I'm playing my first session on June 10, finally! However, I can't promise that there won't be more. However, it will be in a separate file: a d66 table for random islands, more on skiven and their jungle domain (and dinosaurs, thanks to Ragnorakk), d66 nautical adventure ideas table, ProfGremlin's beautiful image of Ruartan with all the best bits mapped and the first adventure... hogscape.googlepages.com/tunnels%26trolls
