So you were fit to be Thai-ed? ;D You could say that the families wanted us to Thai the knot. Ah, I understand. I hadn't thought about that aspect of it. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for them when they pop up from time to time.

It all depends upon what FBI's standard terms. If FBI got reprint rights, it may be doable. If not...
And the Dragon CD was closed down due to a lawsuit over material which explicitly was NOT permitted to be reprinted, even on dead tree. Sealed settlement. Thus no precedent.

That Dragon CD supposedly gave us Hackmaster as part of the settlement. God knows if that was good for us all...

Hi, I've just found out about this site and had a good read tonight, it's brought back alot of memories. I started playing T&T when I was about 11. Just started secondary school. I have a copy of Elven Lords and was shocked at how much people would pay for it now. I would like to know how much my collection would be worth tho there's two sets of rules, both 5th edition, 1 from 1979 and 1 from 1983 and 20 solo games. Not that any is for sale.

Machfront gave me this wonderful link. It could help you price some of your items even if out of curiosity, by comparing it to their catalogue. Noble Knight

di1701: you're most likely gonna get more for the solos than for the rules themselves.
T&T 5.5 includes a literal duplicate of the 5.0 rules, with the new material in an appendix. It's still in distribution new, and FBI still has some in stock.
Further, follow the noble knight games link Jongjonbu posted and get a feel for the collector prices. T&T really isn't a good "investment" property; it never made the big time, but has long been a stable fanbase. Further, it's been allowed to lay fallow far too long.

Welcome to the 'Bridge, di1701! With anything, it's worth something only to those it's worth something to. eBay may be a better gauge for actual worth as opposed to prices. Hard to say. The rulebooks generally go for fair and low prices. Having said that, I've seen only once a copy of the first printing of the 5th ed. rulebook (and I don't recall what it sold for, I think it was a bit over $30, but I'm not certain). If your '79 copy is in very good condition and is a first printing, it may be worth about that. Since you have so many solos, as Aramis stated, that's where the higher worth will be, as many of the solos go for very high prices. Elven Lords, Overkill, Dargon's Dungeon, Sword For Hire, Sorcerer's Solitaire and WeirdWorld especially. It's not all that often I even see those. The mini-solos, too. Heck, I paid $28 for both Circle of Ice and Goblin Lake in very good condition....28 bucks for those two tiny things.

Well, after week's wait with bated breath, my copy Elven Lords just arrived. Terrific condition - I would say this is close to Near Mint, pages still white and crisp. Signed by both Mike Stackpole and Liz Danforth. Number 660 of 1150. Lovely!
That's a lot of entertainment value... for one dollar (and ten cents).
It must have been a lucky mistake. The three copies of SA I had ordered with it were 3-4 bucks apiece and look like my dog had lunch on them (issues 12,14,15).

That's awesome, Porkbelly! Yep, their mistake, their loss. I had that kind of opportunity a couple times on eBay too. But not for Elven Lords. A few of the others, I couldn't resist just placing a bid on it just to see even if I had a printing of it. And when it turns out I won, I could only say "Whoa, cool." No dent in the wallet there. ;D Haha. Welcome to the 'Bridge, di1701! What he says. Exactly what I was gonna say. Those are all the very rare ones, in print anyway, and seem to go for quite a steep price for such a thing. You can get some of those in PDF now, but print versions I always see go for quite a bit when they do pop up ($20-$40). Blue Frog Tavern and Sword for Hire are somewhat rare and go for a pretty good price, over $20 usually, when not in Corgi editions. Mistywood and Sewers of Oblivion by themselves are relatively inexpensive on Noble Knight.com (about double the cost of solos still in stock at FBI,Inc.), but outside of Noble Knight I don't see them for sale or listed on other sites or eBay all that often. And when they do, they're about that price, over $10 (unless its an eBay listing and then sometimes less depending on who else is bidding). You could also check Mile High Comics.com too.

I first played City of Terrors in 1981... I was playing it again on the weekend (when I should have been doing a dozen other things) and it's STILL awesome!
