Charles sucks his nicked hand to stop the flow of blood.
"Hey Quin, there are still more coffins to check!" he shouts as Quinlan wanders away. "More gold for me I guess." Shrugging Charles ducks under the murderous knife as it flies through the air and attempts to open the next sarcophagus. "Any tentacled horrors in here?"
OOC: Two can play at this game. ;D

Quinlan glances over his shoulder keen to see another comrade give up the folly of the cursed dagger...

You duck away from the dancing blade and gather around one of the unopened sarcophagi. This one holds another "preserved" gill-man, clutching a long, beautifully crafted trident.
OOC: Melanthios still has CON left, so he can move around normally if he wants to.

Melantios having recovered from almost being crushed to death by the sarcophagus lid will keep as far away as possible from the sarcophagus in question.
Melanthios: "I'd like to try catching that dagger, but only after I've had some healing. If you all are going to be opening any more sarcophagi I'm going to be staying in this corner just in case there are any more of those things hiding in them."

Realizing he'll likely regret such a rash action after the beating they just took from a knife, Charles first cuts off the "preserved" gill man's head then reaches into the sarcophagus and wrestles the trident away from the corpse.

Drugan will see if he can lure the annoying blade out of the room so they can close the door between themselves and the dagger.
OOC: If we're going to finish investigating this room I'd rather not have a homicidal knife hanging around while we do it.

The trident is beautifully crafted and seems to be perfectly balanced for throwing.
The dancing blade has returned to its sarcophagus. Is Drugan really going to mess with it again?

Quinlan slaps face (Curly from the Stooges) at the thought of Drugan waking up the blade again...

As soon as the blade comes to rest Drugan turns to the others.
"Slap a lid on that d**n thing, if I had some chain id make sure no one ever has to deal with that cursed thing again"
"Now lets get the grapnel and rope and get those remaining coffins open!"

Charles carefully examines the trident to see if he can notice any special details. He ditches his old, gill man gut encrusted trident in favor of this one.
"If no one minds of course," he says while miming throwing the trident at half fish horrors.
After he finishes playing he sets to help opening the next sarcophagus.

"Whew, after two slashes from that blade I'm feeling a little faint. If anyone finds a nice shield in one of these sarcophagi, let me know!"
Poncho joins Melanthios in the corner behind the protection of his tower shield.
OOC: With a CON of 5 I think I'll sit out for a while until we get back to the tower.

The last two sarcophagi are empty. The former inhabitants have been dissolved into a foul smelling, murky goo. Fishing around for treasure in the muck is a hopeless and disgusting affair.
OOC: So, what next?

OOC: Considering that the warriors are wounded and the wizards are exhausted, I say he head back up to the tower.
Although we should be careful, as weak as we are currently we are ripe for ambush.
Also perhaps the spell I found in the second coffin will open the magically locked doors, but we won't know until I've had a chance to study it.
