Coming soon: the re-vamped version of the Dark Isles re-jigged for the fifth edition rules.
New spells, weapons, kindreds, critters and an abundance of new 'stuff'.

What made you decide to do this? 'Standard' DI will stay around, yes?

Fourth Edition is super-cool too. The reason I ask is because Hogscape's DI 'experiment' sorta began because of 4th's lower dice totals and it's way of missle combat, etc.

Great Hogscape! After you inspire me to really retro back to fourth, you reverse course. Oh, the verities of life...

I'm sticking with 4.5 for my rule set but in the spirit of making free stuff available to T&T fans I'm trying to craft a version suitable for what I beleive is the most played version of the game: fifth edition!
So yes, Dark Isles with smaller numbers of dice, different magic system and missile fire will by staying.
Thanks for the interest folks.

Sounds good. I was hesitant to take up DI because of its 4th edition foundation, and didn't want to confuse myself heheh. So yeah, I formed a biased early opinion that made it a turnoff. But if you make it more suitable to 5th ed folks I'd definitely be taking another look oh yeah.

Oh, you shouldn't hesitate jongjungbu. Hogscape did a great job and the rules are spartan and clear and very flavorful. I doubt you'd get all mixed up. Weapon damage uses less dice and missle combat, it could be argued, is a bit easier. Talents are present and advancement is so easy that you don't even need to really track anything. DI is cool stuff, even without the setting, which is awesome-sauce itself.
