Have now played it. Very atmospheric, very well written. A good test for the character I sent through it (battle with the goddess, even with the amulet was real tough)
I have a dislike of the random die mechanic. I appreciate why it makes sense for the nature of the scenario, but i like to be able to choose different options, without feeling i am 'cheating' the solo. Its one of the reasons I am less keen on sea of mystery than other solos of that era.
Thats a personal bugbear though.
Overall, great job, and thank you.

Thanks! What's with everyone being so unlucky (or lucky) with the Goddess die roll coming up LOL. It's the least likely event in the whole solo. Anyway, Sea of Mystery is my favorite FBI solo (with Jungle of Lost Souls now working it's way up to #2 or 3 possibly). So, that should explain where my inspiration comes. I'm glad you noticed, because that is what I exactly modeled it after. Though it might not be your preferred solo style, I'm happy with the comparison coming up. Glad you enjoyed it!

I also posted my mini-solo of 25-paragraphs challenge on the Bridge a few threads below this one, Murders in the Midst of Annelsia.

In enjoyed it, although I spent I litle bit to much time in the desert due to not to be able to get a die result that would advance the story. But good job and thanks for sharing!
