Well, I can certainly understand the feeling of wanting to do something. One thing that could be done, of course, is to ask people who have created stuff for HH to compile it and put it up for free or fee on the Trollbridge store front on Lulu, or on a webpage.

By using my passive aggressive method it is easy to just remind people on any threads about T&T that it is still in print, legit and for sale at Flying Buffalo and Firery Dragon.
Remind people that they don't need to hunt e-bay or shady dealers for a 'lost copy, clone or pirate edition. For around $30 they can have a shiney new complete copy of the original editon for all their old school gaming needs.
Perhapsd Mr. Loomis will see that the time is right to push T&T a bit more through on demand publication, even offering the hard cover option. 5E stands up well over time but I say that from my years of hind sight, perhaps a re-editing of the book would benifit T&T as well.

Well you know what, my narrative session report on Deathtrap Equalizer Dungeon that is in HH#18 was already up on my website. Mind you, the HH version is a little more polished, and kindly edited by Hogscape. But, it's still available in some medium, not that people in general are big on wanting to read such things heheh.
So, there you go. And I already pulled my last solo submission which was suppose to go into #19. That is probably the more interesting contribution people would be interested in. I am bout 90% leaning towards just having it up on the Trollbridge Lulu storefront, because I am very very pleased with how it came out in print (my copies just arrived yesterday), and I would love it if everyone could get their hands on it with as low cost as possible. Even if that means a free PDF and an at-cost POD via Lulu. I believe it was about $5.88 for a single print copy. My only issue with the Lulu storefront is I noticed the PDF version you can download instead of ordering print (free as it is) is sans the covers. Not that they are necessary but I find it rather weird they do it that way.

I don't recall if this has been posted yet, but on page 53 of issue 11 of Pegasus, Judges Guild's old magazine, there is a map of a building that has been reproduced in I believe either an issue of Hobbit Hole or Dungeoneer. I can't recall which, but it is in one of the more recent issues.

HO-LEEEEE - I don't have Pegasus #11 at hand but I do have the Wilderness insert from issue 11 that (until recently, apparently) was free for download from the Judges Guild website, and has page 53 included. I also don't know about HH or DD, but I DO know Mr. "that guy" reproduced the map of "Dunlin Inn" on page 22 of his "Tunnels & Trolls 2007 House Rules". And BTW - my friend who had the article published in Hobbit Hole says that he left a bunch of unpublished manuscripts for Sorcerer's Apprentice which "someone" had appropriated and said they'd print... he's never seen anything about them, much less a payment, but he says it's probably not worth pursuing. So in this case, anyway, it was just sleaziness and not outright theft. By the by - just as a teaser - I found some interesting stuff on the archives of the Blue Frog Tavern Yahoo group over the weekend. I'll summarize it later.

I remember now - you're right, it was the 2007 House Rules book. And I too know what it's like to be promised to have something published but hear or see nothing of it...

Checking the old postings from Blue Frog Tavern, I managed to not only find the original post where Andrew Greene notes that "that guy" appropriated "Escape from Khosht" from the BFT and sold it, without permission and in violation of Andrew's wishes (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/bluefrogtavern/message/8539), but I've found three other solos "that guy" posted to the BFT and also has for sale - Brian Penn's Rogue's Gallery, Ken St. Andre's A Sworded Adventure ( posted without KsA's permission), and Tori Bergquist's Aberdan's Folly, in addition to the article "How Much Is That Bearskin In the Window?" from a back issue of The Hobbit Hole. The interesting thing I was going to mention is that while one "David Thorn" is credited for publishing "T&T 6th Edition" to the 'Net back in 2000, "that guy" is the one who linked to the site "David"'s rip-off versions of T&T, Monsters! Monsters! and Starfaring were posted to (http://web.archive.org/web/20041001023554/http://www.angelfire.com/tn2/Tunnelsandtrolls/). And when a message was posted to BFT from Rick Loomis by way of KsA, "David"'s reaction was vintage "that guy": Interesting. Oh, BTW - apparently "that company"'s web site has finally been taken off-line. "that guy" may have bitten off more than even he can chew this time for sure...

Interesting. Oh, BTW - apparently "that company"'s web site has finally been taken off-line. "that guy" may have bitten off more than even he can chew this time for sure... Good, because I checked it earlier today and he was boasting about how many thousands of hits the site gets and that 1 in 20 visitors spend more than $50. Talk about insult to injury.

Seems the DNS entry for it at the yahoo nameservers is gone. Not sure what to make of that yet.

Around the first of December I bought a whole bunch of back issues of HH and solos that I had been putting off getting until I had more money to spend. I couldn't resist the sale prices though so I got them. That reminded me I hadn't visited this site in a while, so I did and found this thread. I decided then I wasn't going to be dealing with "that guy" any more, but at that point the money had already been spent. I'm certainly glad I was able to complete my Boozer solo collection (excepting Deliamber's Delight Level 2, which I ordered directly from him). I ended up with a big stack of solos and have only now about finished going through them.
Has anyone looked at Dark Depths, supposedly written by "that guy"? It is a (bad) solo that also contains material for underwater campaigns. It has been a very long time since I played D&D (the last book I bought from TSR was Unearthed Arcana, I believe) but I'm pretty sure I have read that material before either in the aforementioned rulebook or DM's Guide or possibly a Dragon magazine. Maybe someone with more familiarity with D&D can figure out exactly which one. It specificaly refers to movement in terms of inches per turn, as one blatant example of D&D rules, not T&T.
I also suspect the solo portion is a poorly adapted version of a D&D adventure. You are frequently given multiple choices of paragraphs to turn to but no mention of which action you are taking or what direction you are moving, just pick a number type thing. The solo is for characters with 10 to 50 adds but I ran into four sea trolls MR 50 in one paragraph and 2d6 MR 25 zombies in another before angrily tossing the book in a corner of my cabinet reserved for useless crap I have bought but may one day use if I need to crib an idea on the fly in a gaming session. It really looks like a hasty, sloppy conversion of someone else's D&D module.
Dark Depths has a lot of nice color artwork in it though. I wonder how much of that is stolen.
This has happened before. A little while before this whole scandal blew up and this monstrous thread grew, I posted somewhere here on the Bridge about Rogue's Gallery. It is almost entirely composed of material lifted directly from Deathtrap Equalizer Dungeon, Beyond the Silvered Pane, Sorcerer's Solitaire and Buffalo Castle. With what we now know of "that guy"'s business practices I wonder if any of the authors of these FBI solos agreed to this.
I actually toyed with the idea of writing a solo and submitting it to "that company" at one point. Now I am very glad I didn't do it.

I stumbled across the address while trying out Firefox's T&T finding capabilities. OP is 45 min south of me...who'da thunk it! By the way, Firefox has a built in spell check...pretty cool.
