Here are a few suggestions for feature titles in the proposed fan-zine ( I like Sorcerer Adept myself ).
Lerotra'hh's Armory: For the weapons feature, we must give all honor to T&T's resident empress/Goddess. ;D
Trinkets from the Trove: For the treasures and magic item feature. Also we could reuse a picture of a dragon sitting on it's trove as a header for the feature.
Creature Feature: For the monster feature, it has that nice quirky T&T humorous feel and it makes one think of monster movies.
Of Kindred & Men: New Kindred and human sub-types, it has a nice literary/Bugs Bunny appeal.
Pages from the Grimoire: For a feature of new spells and Wizard based rules. I think if we're going to give Warriors new weapons we should give Wizards some new toys as well.
I'll think of some more possibilities for features while I wash dishes. ;D

Assuming this 'zine gets off the ground-what format would you prefer for articles? Text, Richtext, Wordperfect, Doc(95, 97, 03, 07 etc) Openoffice, PDF etc etc?

Well because someone will have to take raw articles in and layout the zine and then build the PDF. Something editable would be best. I'd say Word 97 is probably a good bet for compatibility or Richtext would ok also. But really it comes down to whatever the person who wants the Editor in chief hat to make the call.
Worse case as group which should have enough tools to convert anything to what is required.

Pretty much anything - though I don't have any Mac computers around... (and Hogscape's is down right now) I use OpenOffice myself, so (I think) the only problem I have is with Mac files maybe... PDF's that aren't copy protected are good. Primitive text and RTF is in many ways kinda ideal - easier to work with... good to see ya around again Order99! Look forward to the reads! And thanks for the titles there TKD. I like the armory, trinkets and of kindred & men especially

Why not Word? Everything out there can read Word, including multiple free programs. Programs that have a version for all three major OS flavors.
Anyhoo. I'll most certainly cast my lot of support towards a fanzine. Though, still, I think it's a very good idea to submit some stuff to Fight On!, especially since calithena has come right out and mentioned it on the FO! sub-forum (at Vin's ODD74 boards) before, and of course for the extra lil bit of exposure.
I like most if not all of the name suggestions, but... as cool as TrollBridge is, and the connection would be neat, I think it should be more distinct. Same sorta problem with using similar shorthand, like "SA".

doc is a horrible format, nothing reads it well. And as soon as you add graphics, forget it the formatting just goes to hell. Do what you will but count me out on doc's.

I really like 'The Sorcerer Adept' as the name for the link with the old SA. I have a combat stunts article in me if this gets going (not written yet, but a deadline would help greatly). I would very much want to contribute it in word and leave some brilliant editor to correctly format it and add artwork. I am guessing that AR Holmes would be a go to guy for a solo , or JJB.

rtf is the only format that preserves any kind of formatting. Graphics shouldn't be added in a word processor anyway, that's for proper layout software.

That's more or less what I was thinking. I thought the intention of whatever format (.doc, in this case) would be no more than to use in the writing/collaboration/trading ideas phase...

Main key thing is, do we have an editor? If we do, we have a focal point to send stuff, and to advertise to solicit for stuff (on RPG net maybe)
