I certainlly like what i see so far and, i think that this could make for an excellent article.
It'd also be ncie to see other people releasing house rules to the zine as that's one thing we've not seen too much of yet.

Thanks for the comments Prof and cartomancer.
The background points = the number of rolls you get on tables of your choice. So humans get 3 rolls, dwarves 1.
The attribute points bit was so i could get a handle on the balance of the kindreds on average stat creation rolls.

Was it intentional to have some results much more likely than others (a 7 should happen six times as often as a 2 or 12)?

With that in mind i think i'll be working this into my house rules. *Exalt*

Thanks cartomancer
Yes, it was apeloverage, the best results (11,12) are outliers and high.
I stuck with d6 as its traditional for T&T. I would like to do d66 charts, and welcome suggestions to get to that point.

I like it also!
For d66 (something I think I would use) I would merge all of the backgrounds together but mark out the table so that (for example) 11 - 22 related to Inheritance and so on. Because I only have 36 slots on a d66 table I'd also smooth out the extreme results (such as 'bam' you're a Paragon) since I like my fantasy small and gritty.
Nice work Zanshin. I will now conduct the time honoured exalting ceremony. "Igor, hand me the barbed Exlating Rod."

Some where on these boards I posted some stuff about birthrights as sort of boons to PCs. Danged if I can find it now. If you locate it feel free to fold it into the mix.

Merging to one d66 table is a good idea Hogscape, i may well do that for the final article. It also eliminates any Bell Curve issues as you say.
