'Ah, yes! We musn't be forgetting the troll must we... Now that was a fight! Mano-a-mano. Blades locked in defiant struggle with tooth and claw. Then it all came down to a battle of wits... And the troll was unarmed'.
'It's true what they say too, two heads are better than one and, the bolas didn't hurt either'.
Looking at empty space where the bolas had hung next to it's twin Alerah makes a mental note to pick up another at the next oppurtunity.
'So...' looking up to the party, 'What's the deal? Halfcut kind of left us in the dark with regards to the details. Maybe you could shed some light on the matter at hand?'.
Adiemar looks upon the newcomers with surprise. "A troll!?" The former squire shakes his head slowly, "We never ran into anything like that. Mostly some strange talking doors, lots of magic. Oddities like that....The BIG stuff, I think, is still waitin for us below the castle."

'Hmmmm...' Alerah ponders for a moment. 'Magic door you say. We found one of those too. It was tricky but we ripped it clean off the wall and it sure fetched a pretty penny... 500 golden ones as i recall but, we did lose some of the hired hands in the fray so we gave a fair amount in severance to them. I have to say though, i like the sound of a big fight. Big fights usually mean big rewards and, big rewards mean good times to be had with wine and mead'.
Alerah gives a longing sigh thinking of the hapiness to be found in glory and wine with an expression reminiscent of a daydream.
Returning to the world around her she re-focusses her mind, revitalised by the promise of the fantasy.
"Yeah, I felt bad for that door," Amblur takes up where Alerah left off. "We arm-wrestled, once. I'd never seen a door with an arm before. Anyway, it was pretty pissed off about us tryin' ta pull it free of the wall, but I figured it was just doing its job guarding the place. Turns out being disconnected d**n near killed it. I felt kinda bad about that, but we got it to a Wizard in time so everything was all right." He scratches his beard for a time. "I sure hope it ends up in a doorway somewheres it can be happy, even if it did kill those guys. If people tried to do something to me that could kill me, I'd likely smash them too." More beardscratching. "Actually, I guess you could say that's what I do for a living." He shrugs.
Bendyss shrugs and lets out the barest hint of a sigh. "I'm with her." He jerks a thumb at Alerah. "We should do this while it's still light out. Anything chases us back up, we don't it to be after dark."
