The hold-up is partly my fault guys! Sligo asked me to retune my adventure in April and I have only just gotten around to actually doing it.
Blame a looming expedition to Mongolia for the delay; I am going for 6 weeks and the preparation has been 'interesting'.

I certainly don't wish this to appear as a witch hunt. I don't care who is responsible, its the why hasn't the delay been addressed thats the real issue. Because nobody cares?
We could have had 2 additional TrollZines in the time this one has taken. If art or an article isn't going to be ready until then, why aren't they being rescheduled for that issue? Because this is last one?
I'm sure no-one would be upset if they were told they had missed the deadline and their offering will have to be in the next issue.
It wasn't lack of material that limited the number of issues in the first year, it was me saying I could only layup 4. There was enough to do one monthly and I think many of us hoped that it would be monthly. Now it looks like its going to bi-annual.
Work on issue 5 has stopped, its dead in the water. I haven't heard one person say they are working on stuff for 5. Most are now waiting to see if 4 really happens, then maybe we'll start work. That puts a huge delay in the next issue while it waits for submissions.
Crash cart over here, charging, stand clear.

Maybe issue 5 should come out next, then issue 4 could forever be talked of in hushed tones: 'the mysterious fourth issue... I knew someone who claimed he'd seen the cover from afar. He's dead now though...'
No. 5 should be 32 pages of black 12-point courier new type with no art and only the headings in bold. Old school and old fashioned. Oh, perhaps a coffee stain on the editorial page?

Nice idea Mike , I would just miss all the brilliant articles that I know were written for number 4.

I'd be happy to supply the coffee ring, I *know* I could do that!

Hey - can you scan a coffee stain/ring on a blank piece of paper and send it to me? I might actually use it (and credit you for it...)

I think the coffee stain is my IP. ;D Ok, but is that Intellectual Property or Internet Protocol? I can make a case for the latter esp. with those new-fangled coffee cup holders computers started coming out with back in the '90's. Never could get my java to install, though...

Wow. Sudden flashback. In the 90's I used to send an editor invoices with b/w fake coffee stains - the type that came through on a fax. Of course when making coffee stains may I recommend the use of a dice mug? ;D (Man, it's hard to drop into conversation, so please humour me)

In the case of TZ, neither. You get your name in print (if it isn't there already), and the bragging rights of knowing you have something published.

Sorry guys. There wasn't much in the way of submissions, in terms of writing or art, but the 4th issue is now finished. Here ya go! Now let's get started on that 5th issue!
