Just trying to create the poll that Skathos was asking as a general question. I don't know if we can merge threads here, so I wanted to preserve the comments and hopefully keep everyone's post counts current.

www.geocities.com/Area51/Cavern/9921/Which would you buy??? For myself, in all honesty, i'd get every single one!!! Including a revised and corrected version of 7E ,although i secretly hope they change the spiral bindinf format...which i can't stand. But that's just because i'm always afraid of accedently ripping out the pages. I'm neurotic and cute that way. I would like to see the "worldbook" and the "spellbook" first, although, like most of us, I'd buy them all. skathros - build this into a poll! I'm sure Trollgod, FBI and Fiery Dragon would be interested! skathros - build this into a poll! I'm sure Trollgod, FBI and Fiery Dragon would be interested! I will...as soon as i figure out how to make polls As with Ironfang, I'd buy them all. I have no particular preference for order. I think most (if not all) of the Trollgod's Trollish elite and members of BBSs like this one ("Blue Frog Tavern" springs readily to mind) would buy the T&T products Khenn's floated. But to really interest authors (other than the Trollgod, of course) and publishers, you need a list of people prepared to pre-order the product and pay a deposit - after all, "money talks". And not all (maybe not even that many) of the potential consumers of such products could be reached via T&T-specific BBSs or the Trollhalla mailing list; we'd need to put together a larger mailing list including contacts on eBay who've bidded on or won T&T/Monsters! Monsters! items, and people who've purchased T&T stuff from Rick Loomis in the recent past. There are at least a thousand of us out there, because, as Khenn said, Fiery Dragon won't reprint T&T 7E until the first thousand have sold, and when I tried to order a second copy of T&T 7E from a big UK online games retailer last week, they told me they couldn't obtain stock from their supplier: it had sold out! I would probably buy all of them. I would also like a copy of 'Agent of Death' which the Trollgod said was going to be republished. The items of most interest to me are the updated version of Monsters! Monsters! and the revised and corrected T&T 7th ed. tin. There's a fair bit that would have to be included with the revised 7th ed., however, to get me to buy it. Both the 7th and 7th Alt. rules need work, and I'd like more and better organized content included on the CD. None of that would be too difficult, though, so hopefully they can make it happen. OK - Maasenstodt, volunteer yourself! 7th edition exists because the "fan" base actively helped the Trollgod develop, proofread, edit, test and write. We were part of the wall he hurled mud at, to see what would stick! While the ideas and mechanics flourished in the mind of the Trollgod for years, going from edit to published went very quickly. What's in need of improving? Make suggestions to Ken, or re-write the whole section. That's what I did, and while many suggestions died in the edit process, there is a small part of "me" in what Ken decided to publish. Please remember Ken's first rule - K.I.S.S. Tunnels & Trolls isn't D&D. Never was, never should be.

My number 1 would be Gristlegrim. Hands down. Yeah, the World Book and Spell Grimoire would be kewl, and would sertainly include lots of content from the faithful, but.. c'mon Trolls.
Gristlegrim is to T&T what Castle Greyhawk was to AD&D -- the "Holy Grail" so to speak.
Never any doubt as to what my vote should be!

Thinking about it, I agree with Ironfang. Gristlegrim is legendary.

These types of poles should have an "All of the above" option.

These types of poles should have an "All of the above" option. I agree, and I should have thought of that when I set it up. On the other hand, NOT having an "all of the above" makes people make the tough choice. It's easy to say "sure, I want it all" but if a game designer comes back and says "I only have time to do one right now, so which is it?" it makes the choice that much harder.

If i were to pick one? It would have to be The Trollworld book! Although a revised and corrected version of T & T 7E would be a very close second.

Why buy when you can download free? ;D ;D ;D ;D To show your appreciation in a tangible manner? To encourage the author to do more of such good work? To get the special edition, with the secret level? OK, as far as I know there isn't really a secret level...
