Ok folks, sending out an appeal.
We have great work by David Ullery and Jeff Freels to illustrate the magazine tailored to 2 articles, Quogmyre always supplies some pieces and is working on the cover, and Andy Kelly , who worked on some (unofficial) products I did for Runequest in the 1990's, has made available his artwork from those products.
I have also had a look round for free source material (a bit like the Tenniel illustration in number 2) with limited success.
Can people who want to give a helping hand to the Zine do any and or all of the following
a) Persuade artists they know to pass work on to us for use in the zine (they retain copyright)
b) Produce art for the zine themselves (and retain copyright)
c) Point me in the right direction for free use art.
Cheers!

You forgot one:
d) Take an art class and, and submit the artwork from your class to the magazine as well (and while there, solicit the other students to contribute as well)

What sort of things are you looking for?
Any specifics or just T&T type stuff in general?

Good idea Sligo, when do you enrol! Fantasy oriented artwork is ideal hrrrothgarrr. A pearl beyond price (take a bow David Ullery, Alex Cook, Jeff Freels and Kevin Bracey) is an artist who will draw to an article, but other than that adventurers striking heroic poses, evil monsters, treasure, fairies, Trolls, Dwarves all good. I'll look at pretty much anything and see if I have an article it could fit with.

b) Produce art for the zine themselves (and retain copyright) I would love to support the 'Zine, but you so very much do not want me to attempt b)... I will investigate whether anyone with artistic ability in my social circles can be convinced to help though.

Good idea Sligo, when do you enrol! Talked to a guy today who might be doing some artwork for one of the other games I'm developing (Non-T&T) and he's interested. He teaches art, too. I emailed him the link to the page with the free T&T Rules and the two issues of TZ (I'm not going to take classes, though... Too much other stuff on my plate!)

Great stuff guys, thank you. Keep it coming! Sligo, you can give him my email if you like. I'll do that - - but I barely know him myself. We play Are You a Werewolf on Saturday nights at the local game store. I'm considering starting a T&T game there, but not until after GenCon at least.

If you have a need for any mini floorplan maps - or standard dungeony style map inserts - drop me a line if my style is appropriate. I do lots of free stuff for people, as long as the deadlines aren't too immediate.
