I've been play testing this for nearly a year now and I'm getting very close to opening it up for beta testers.
If you have a Mac running Leopard or Snow and would like to run an adventure in "The Southern Most Realm" please let me know.
You will need your Mac, a d6 and the supplied Maps at the gaming table.

Hi Quog, I'm hoping to have my Snow Leopard MacBook back in the game by early July. I'd love to be on the beta test list!

I'm currently balancing the Treasure carried, Weapon size and AP.
In 5.5 NPC are light on AP and currently heavy on Treasure being a roll in the Treasure Chart and they don't spend their GP. 5.5 give no clues on how to upscale the weapons, in M!M! they have better Weapons, but no Treasure. Giving both and they are too rewarding.
And MR gets great weapon dice, adds and AP.
So the TSMR preference is more balanced. Slightly more AP, adding in more dice count and less Treasure as they buy oversized weapons.
T&T is very much a game of illusion, the GM tends to pretend that there is a faithful T&T world in which the players inhabit but really it's a charade where the GM has tricks and the NPCs live by a different set of rules. That's fine but not what I'm trying to achieve.
And while Ken has said that T&T isn't balanced, I think it needs to be consistent. And the AP, Treasure and Size of opponents needs to be balanced. The players need to feel frustrated they haven't enough loot and APs and pleased they are progressing quickly. That's the hard bit.

Today I finished balancing the AP and Treasure the NPCs yield and it's looking good. They now purchase their weapons which lowers the GPs but the money spent gets added to the APs so they yield a little more AP.

I just bought a second hand iMac G4 with OS 10.6. I'd love to beta test it.

Great, a few of things came out of last weeks game.
Party minions who fight, therefore get AP, but don't get a cut of the Loot. Fix the first run so it copies the support files to Application Support Folder. Also I'm moving the Treasure Generator to the Toolbar.
Would it be helpful if I write a single session GM adventure and supply a pre-made set of characters?

after a lot of dithering, I've decided to release it 'As Is' because this is never going to be finished, there's so much more I want to add.
I've fixed all the crashing bugs, now it's just logic.
So if you're still keen to test this with a gaming group please PM me with a current email address.

I have now sampled the delights of the GM aid and let me say that anyone who is a) smart enough to play 5E and b) smart enough to own a Mac should definitely get their claws on this brilliant piece of software!
Many thanks Quog. This is destined to become a standard part of my T&T games!
Where's my Exalt button got to?

This tread lost a lot of offers of play testing during the Board melt down.
I'm happy to have feedback from another 1 or 2 people. PM or Email me if you have a group who you can try this with.

I score 1 out of 2. I... I... I'm not sure how smart that makes me... I'm working on a spreadsheet that lists my various habits, opinions, and biometric data which will allow you to quickly calculate your intelligence based on the degree to which you agree with me. I'll post it as soon as it's ready.
