Ok, I'll look into getting a post up this weekend, though I'm not exactly sure when. I have a fair amount on my plate right now between headaches and sleep deprivation which I'm hoping will be significantly mollified by crashing tonight and tomorrow.
I'll have the deep-fried battered pixie with balrog dipping sauce and a Hobgoblin ale.

Well. That was supremely unfortunate. It would seem that Ozenda's forte is not healing. Sorry about that Gaptooth, maybe we can use one of those first aid kits... ETA - I was looking to spend 10 Wiz on that spell. I'm not sure how 7.x treats the Wiz expenditure. If that Wiz doesn't vanish with her fumble, she'll be happy to try again.
As I've been thinking about this post it occurs to me that with the harrowing ordeal that Ozenda has been through, she certainly won't be all that enthused about keeping an artifact that Salazar coveted. To that end, she'll gladly give up the Kremmsuck staff and Cape of Good Hope. While Salazar lived the artifacts served a purpose. Now that he is vanquished Ozenda is beginning to feel rather - well, sick, would be the best way to put it. If Aonghasan wants the staff, it looks like he could use a crutch if nothing else, he's welcome to it. Whoever else wants the Cape can have it. Ozenda doesn't consider them part of the treasure and doesn't want anything for them.
MM, maybe we can briefly play the scene when Owynn goes back to the village, and assume that everything is organized to all parties' satisfaction in the background? We could discuss here how to divide the treasure and spend AP, and that would put an end to the story...

I wasn't specific in terms of game mechanics, Prof. But Ozenda used up all the stored magic in the Kremmsuck staff. It didn't cost her any of her own WIZ. She takes no damage from the backlash or the fall, but might be shaken up for a bit.

I think this would make a good stopping point in the game. My sincerest thanks to kwll, Gaptooth, ProfGremlin, Tenkar, docrotwang, and the others that participated in this game over the long and short-term. It has been a blast.
I'd invite anyone who played to write an epilog for their characters.
We can assume the following: Bitsa and the others figure out the puzzle with the coins and get the vault open. Inside is 12,000 GP in ingot form. Along with the dragon's horde and the few bits and pieces looted off goblins and out of desk drawers, you have a little over 20,000 GP.
After repaying Smythe the 2418 GP for gear, weapons, armor, food, and lodging at the hotel, let's say you have 18,000 GP to divide among you. Since Herman survived, the 5000 GP bond on his life is out of the picture - Smythe put down the money, but now he gets it back.
Tenkar's Titans take over operation of the Mines and establish a fairly peaceful and prosperous relationship with the town of Dead End. I'll leave it up to Tenkar (the TrollBridge member) whether Tenkar (the character) stays on as their leader or heads off for new horizons since it was originally his character. Seagal reluctantly stays on as the Chief of Security. He's not a bad fellow.
Salazar, Hrruuukkk Ptui, and The Donald are all dead. Roz slithered away in the night. Effington is still with you and is still somewhat beholden to his rival, Aonghasan for saving his life (resurrecting him actually). I think Gaptooth should be able to dictate how things turn out for Effington as well as for Aonghasan. He has the Resurrection Stone, but the burning question in my mind is will he get a new tongue?
Kwll can tell us what happens ultimately to Owynn and Panagiotis, as these two were close comrades in arms through the whole adventure.
And ProfGremlin gets to speak for Bitsa and Ozenda, who ended up with the Kremmsuck staff and the Cape of Good Hope.
I'll attempt to write the epitaph for Herman, who was my favorite NPC in this whole debacle.
