We'll use this thread for keeping player character sheets up to date. Post your player character sheets here and modify the posts to keep them up to date as their item inventory, attributes, and AP changes throughout the adventure. You know the drill.
Here's what I'm looking for in PCs; 2nd level character of Human, Dwarf, Elf, or Hobbit kindreds.
We need 2-3 Warriors, 1-2 Wizards, and probably a Rogue with some thievish tendencies.
If you are rolling a human character, roll 3d6 for all 8 attributes. You can choose which rolls are for which attributes. Pick four attributes and add 10 to them.
(The 8 attributes in v 7.5 are STR, CON, DEX, INT, LK, CHR, WIZ, and SPD)
If you are rolling a character for one of the other kindreds, roll 3d6 for all 8 attributes, select which rolls you want for which attributes, and apply the kindred multipliers. You can add 5 to any two attributes that weren't multiplied UP by kindred multipliers.
Here are the 7.5 kindred multipliers in case you don't have them:
Dwarves: STR x 2, CON x 2, LK x 2/3 Elves: CON x 2/3, INT x 3/2, LK x 3/2, CHR x 2, WIZ x 2 Hobbits: STR x 1/2, CON x 2, DEX x 3/2, LK x 3/2
Combat adds are based on STR, DEX, LK, and SPD over 12 or under 9.
Also, pick two talents for your character. Associate each talent with an attribute, and roll 1d6 for each talent. If you want to use that talent, this result is added to your saving roll on that attribute. That sounds complex, but it's pretty easy. Say my talent is singing - I associate that with CHR. I roll a 3 for my singing talent. If I want to use my singing talent to make an ogress fall in love with me instead of eat me, the GM may call for a L3 SR on CHR. I get to add 3 to my saving roll, since I'm using my singing talent. Make sense?
I'd put my talent on my character sheet as Singing: CHR+3
Your PC's just need their clothing. They will purchase weapons, armor, and equipment on credit in the adventure.
Roll 'em up!

Aonghasan [ IN us an] "You can call me 'Nasan." He is mercilessly vain, and the only thing he loves more than flaunting about in finery is catching others up in his charisma. His most prized treasures are his mirror and his small personal grooming kit which includes noxious herbal hair gels and perfumes. He hates dirt and filth of all kinds. Silver-tongued and aloof, Aonghasan is usually seen simpering up to the high and mighty, courting influence with the local warlord or aristocracy, whose resources he consumes wildly in pursuit of his other great love: occult lore. Aonghasan devours the wisdom of libraries, books, and learned elders, with a strong interest in the hidden lore of dragons, ancient artifacts, and apocryphal history. Sometimes he even loses himself so deeply in his note-taking, that he will stain his dainty fingers with ink. Lately, Aonghasan had a falling out with his recent patron, who began to think of him as a bit useless-- Aonghasan keeps his wizardry quiet. He's currently traveling in search of a new cushy living situation that can provide for his comforts while he throws himself into his preening and studies. Appearance Average height and weight for a hobb with shaggy black hair and warm brown eyes. He wears a loose fitting shirt of blue tucked into charcoal trews and leather sandals. A leather vest, unbuttoned, graces his shoulders and a matching flat cap is pulled low on his brow.
History Bitsa is a city Hobb who began his career early when the beggars guild snatched him from his parents in the market. The massive port-wine birthmark covering the left side of his face was sure to bring in coin out of pity (or perhaps revulsion). You would think that such a distinguishing feature would make it easy for his parents to find him and bring him home. Alas, such was not the case. Bitsa has dim memories of warmth, kindness and a full tummy all through the haze of time and dim candlelight.
As time passed Bitsa managed to gain entrance into the thieves guild and there he excelled. He worked well as a breakin man and was set to earn a good reputation as such until he fumbled a foolhardy challenge. Skipping out of town two steps ahead of the constabulary, Bitsa hopes the advertisement he found pinned to the wall while catching his breath will set him up well enough to get started elsewhere.

Sorry, Tenkar, didn't mean to step on your toes there, it looks like we were both posting at the same time. Let me know if you really wanted to play a Hobb Rogue. I can roll up an Elven Warrior which was going to be my second choice. Unless, of course, two hobb rogues won't cause problems of MonsterMike

Added Aonghasan's appearance, history, spells, and a few of his vanity items-- if by some tragedy he has lost these before the adventure begins, he will seek them out at the very earliest opportunity!

Dang. monstermike, the online-generated PC I sent you is a satyr I generated before I saw your list of kindreds. Should I generate another, or run with the satyr?

I'll allow him, but you need to beef him up a bit. Add 10 to four attributes. (Is his CHR really -8?). He just needs the clothes on his back. I assume that having goaty hooves, he won't be bothered by a little rock climbing. Since he already has two specials, give him 1 talent.

Oh, and for you wizards... Take Poor Baby and pick 3 other L2 Spells for your repertoire.

Any chance a rogue could get a spell? I'd be willing to try Bitsa's luck at nicking one

Yeah, his CHR came out -8; for some reason your CHR is always negative with that generator unless you specifically check "positive CHR" on the form (??). Should I just call it 8? Is there a talent cheat sheet somewhere? I've only got v5.5 at home.

Thanks, MonsterMike, I'll look those over tonight. Mkrawec, I believe that generator expresses "monster kindred" charisma as a negative in relation to typical kindred. IIRC, you drop the negative when dealing with other 'monster kindred'.
