... but I think there's a compatability pack. There is, I've used it on my machines at home without issue. The official site is located here. Thanks for the spreadsheet, MM. I'll take a look at it when I get home.

Have you guys used Google Docs? A Docs version of the spreadsheet could be updated by anyone who has access, without leading to multiple copies of the file at various stages of revision.
I've been using an index card for my info since early on, and I only check this thread for the spell list and the equipment, to which I need only refer occasionally. I realize that keeping the online version up-to-date is important, but the forum isn't the easiest way to handle this kind of data. Now that I've glanced over your spreadsheet, I think it's a lot better suited to the task!
I just sent MM a Docs version, which I can use from here on out. If it suits the rest of you, I can give each of you "edit" access. If not, it's still useful to me, and I'm thankful to Mike for putting it together!

Thanks, GT. I've not yet used Google Docs, but I'm willing to give it a whirl.
I've been using the spreadsheet from the beginning, but it wasn't until recently that I figured out how to post an attachment. It would've saved a lot of time when we were confirming stats and item weights and costs if I had figured it out earlier.
The spreadsheet isn't as detailed as your PC sheets - it's been just my quick reference for GM info.

yep, that's a decent sheet to work with. If you want to set it up on Google Docs, Gaptooth, I could see my way to keeping it edited.

Thanks, Prof-- have an exalt. I've added you as a collaborator. If anyone else wants access, just PM me with an email address you use for your Google services. If you don't want to use the Docs version, don't worry about it.

I usually advise Openoffice (or Google Documents) for internet exchange... But Openoffice might very well open office 2007 documents!

Just to be clear, we'd be responsible for our own characters, right? I'm not sure I'd want the responsibility of editing someone else's character sheet.

I don't see it when I log in to google docs. But I've had trouble with google before - it's complicated, but I think it has something to do with our ISP. When I follow the link you sent, it sends me to my wildblue homepage and locks up.

Try logging into your Gmail/Google account then go to the option for Documents, on the main Google search page it's under the More menu option. From there you should be in Google Docs and you can go to the option for 'Shared With Me'.

I just had to comment that the sudden detour of this thread into tech support amused me greatly! ;D Tech Support and Trolls - hmmm, that could work...

... Please reboot your computer and make a L3 Luck saving roll. Success results in your problem being solved. Failure results in a system crash. If you fumble, we will come to your house armed with troll grenades.
@prof: I have no problem finding Google Docs or logging in. When I go there, there's nothing in my shared folder. I think the root problem is that Google thinks there's two of me with the same email address.

Here's the NPC sheet for the prisoner Ozenda. Werrrdna has expressed some interest in joining a PBP and we are very close (I think) to introducing Ozenda into the game. I'll send some backstory on Ozenda to Werrrdna via PM. Attachments:
