well, lets see - silverware, candelabra, tankard, paintings, books, yo-yo's (I think), music box, cigar box full of thingamabobs (corkscrews), glass sphere - just about anything that would be aboard a ship when it sank. Here's the clip - www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pPUmv3U2XYHey, I have kids.... that's my story and I'm sticking to it... ;D

This week was back to the "Scions of Moribund" campaign. The Undersea City campaign is a second ongoing campaign, desined to be used with just one or two players at a time... the larger ongoing game remaining "Scions of Moribund" This week Fin could not attend, so the group considted of: Kit playing Taran 7th level warrior Hannah Jane playing Ella Noir the elf rogue 5th level Hana playing Hana the dark elf warrior 3rd level Aeron playing Jack Sparrow the elf rogue 2nd level Geronimo playing Kazakarn the urok paragon 4th level We began where we had left off two weeks previously. On the back of a giant megalithic dinosaur type thing imported from the plane of the Beastlands. More specifically, in a hyenaman encampment on the back of that monolithic beast. Hyena-men, under the command of a mage troll named Ragnar RockOn! have found a way to subvert the mind of the immense beast and are using it as a living siege machine/ savage tenement. One town on the frontierlands has already been smashed to bits as the thing marches inexorably toward Hollyfall and Moribund.... hometown's of the Scions. For now, I leave you with some sketch designs for this unique dungeon. Credit where it is due, the original idea for this adventure came from a dungeon magazine circa 2003. I ran the game back at that time as a DnD adventure. The cover had the Githyanki Incursion on it, but i can't recal the exact issue. My sketches are hand drawn, but they are HEAVILY inspired by the illos. from the Dungeon issue. The play session was great, with Jack Sparrow using the "Transmogrifying Bracer of ProfessorGremlin" to change into a hawk, an ant, and a hyena man at various times, and Ella Noir riding her magical flying mechanical beetle with Taran on the back in a dogfight with a gargoyle. Also spells like "Blow a Kiss" from arconomicon were used to awesome effect.. I promise to give a write up of the game, as it was quite fun and many saving rolls were made... and failed as well. I am about to go see "Cabin in The Woods" though.... so it will have to be later, in the meantime, a sketch Attachments:

You missed Fin's pistol of Wang Chung seemingly misfiring and teleporting Ella Noir out of her jewelry shop in Moribund and INTO the spot where you where a moment before.... holding HER pistol of Wang Chung. Meanwhile teleporting you to her jewelry shop to sit out the adventure. You missed Taran (and Kit) groaning because he didn't know his arch rival Ella would be in the game. You missed Hana using her pepper grinder gatling gun to cut three HyenaMen to ribbons, leaving one with an MR of three and no legs. You missed Taran jumping off a roof hoping to plunge his sword into an ogre below and rolling a 3. He fell 20 feet flat on his face. 3d6 damage... armor no protection. You missed the ensuing hilarity. You missed Kazakarn finally making himself useful and using the "Blow a Kiss" spell to literally blow the roof off a couple of howdahs. You missed a shot from Ella's pistol that splashed boiling oil all over an ogre and made him plummet to his death ( but only after bouncing off the megasaur a few times on the way down. You missed Taran jumping onto the back of Ella's magical flying beetle and firing arrows and his blunderbuss into the windows of the tower. All the while, Ella driving the beetle dodged a gargoyle in a dogfight, and fired her own pistol rolling succesfully on a 3rd level luck roll... 3rd level dex roll... 2nd level IQ roll. That moment was full on "Return of the Jedi" hoverbike cinematically cool, with the beetle and the gargoyle diving down between the legs of the beast. You missed the new elf..(aeron's character, now called Jack) using professor gremlin's transmogrofying bracelt to turn into a hawk, an ant, and to disguise himself as a hyena-man in order to gain info from the hyena man shaman. You missed out on some adventure points. But you DID NOT miss the final episode of this adventure.... so please join us again when you can stop getting yourself in trouble. Also, next adventure for the undersea city is ready to play.... but it looks like it cant be this weekend.

Hey, glad to hear you guys are enjoying the bracer. Did you make any changes to it? Any suggestions for improving it?

Not really any changes to it. The current dial options are : 1.scarlett breasted hawk 2. common ant 3. hyenaman
Jack recieved some flack when his archer knocked a hawk out of the sky in order to annoint the bracer with his blood. Hopefully he wears the feathers of that hawk in his Jack Sparrow-y hair.
There was a question at one point whether changes were instantaneous or required a kind of "changing time"... I ended up asking the player. the answer should be obvious. a second level luck role secured the deal. Instantaneous ( or nearly so).
At one point, the elf wearing the bracer was knocked ( while in elf form) off the roof of one of the towers on the back of the megasaur. its a long fall.
He wanted to "go falcon" in mid fall. I asked for a 2nd level dex roll 1st level IQ roll to make the change ( finding the right dial setting while falling would take dex and steadiness of mind i think). He succeeded.
It remains to be seen what other "annointings" the item will recieve in the coming weeks. Unfortunately for jack the Elf, the item actually belongs to Kazakarn.... who wants it back.

Wow! Great thread Devadasi. It really illustrated how versatile T&T can be. I wish that I was half as creative as you.

and that bout wraps that game up. currently jaxxon and ella noir are in a TnT version of White Plume mountain. jaxxon had a sword and a whip tatooed an his back. muralie got a griffon. all members of the adventuring group have gotten chains tatooed around their wrists.... one link for each member of the party Fin (fin) Jaxxon(kit) ellaNoir(hannah) speedy (NPC) indigo (kit) amethyst (hannah) muralie (NPC) Hi! Just happened upon this! I think it's awesome that you played a T&T version of White Plume Mountain (one of my all time favorite classic dungeons!). I am planning to lone wolf play it. Do you have any advice in the conversions?
Btw, strangely similar, my Wood Elf ranger is searching for a griffon egg.

Thanks for reading! Glad you enjoyed it! ( and thank-you Gaptooth, for alerting me that the thread was alive!)
Its been some time since the actual game, half a decade i think, so i can't remember the actual methodology of conversion at that time, but its probably very similar to how i convert classic DnD adventures to the TnT system even today, which is to say, likely by the seat of my pants! Especially when it comes to converting stats, like monsters and such, i am likely to just do it in game as we play. A good rule of thumb is if you want to monster to be a difficult challege, have its MR be larger than the amount of damage the characters generally do in one round of combat, if you want it close, keep them similar, and if you want it easy, have it be less. Monster special abilities could alter this number. Hope that helps! Thanks for reading!
