Owynn stops the sheriff in his tracks with a gesture from the hand. "No worries, I can handle him." Then he lifts 'Hasan, his arms under shoulders and knees, and follows the wizard. "Thanks a lot, Mr Smythe. And you are right: this guy suffers a lot more pain than from his physical wounds alone."
The warrior puts him down in the couch as indicated by his host, then heads towards a welcome breakfast.

Smythe whips up a simple breakfast. Coffee, fresh biscuits with butter and honey, some sliced melon, eggs scrambled with onion and red pepper, and a few slices of smoked sausage.
Sheriff Cogburn sits and gratefully sips coffee while Smythe lays the food out family style on the table. "So, did young Herman survive? I expect his folks are anxious to hear about him. Did you run into any trolls? What's happening there now?"
Owynn sits at the table as well, and grabs as much food as he can put in his mouth. When the Sheriff asks his questions, the warrior keeps his hand high while he struggles to swallow everything, emits an unwanted and loud burp, and starts answering: "First things first, I have a great news for you: the heir of Tallinoor has been retrieved at last." He starts a satisfied smile. "You are looking at him right now."
Outside a bit of wind pushes a nearby branch. Consequently, a sun ray beams through the window and makes Tallinoor's armor glint for a very short while.

Smythe and Cogburn rock back in their chairs, their eyes opening wide in shock. "You?! I mean to say, you?" Smythe gasps. "But yes, that is Talinoor's armor and blade. I recognize it from some old drawings. Amazing. So you must have discovered his tomb... Well, the townsfolk will be heartened to hear this. Trolls have not troubled us since Tallinoor's time, but folks have been nervous since hunters and shepherds have come back from the mountains reporting sightings of them again."
Cogburn fingers the stubble on his chin meditatively. "Didja see trolls there? Did Salazar command them somehow? And are any still alive?"
"Salazar did take control of a number of trolls. But, and that is the most important piece of news here, he is no more! We have defeated him in an epic battle just recently. The trolls are now slayed, in flight or subjugated." Thinking about it now, Owynndid achieve a few things in this adventure. He cannot repress a smile.
He relaxes a bit, having eaten abundantly already. "As it happens, the evil wizard was removing dwarfs from surrounding regions and bringing them to his mining operation as slaves. a whole host of trolls, goblins and orcs were used to watch over and punish them. He had a motley crew of wizards and warriors as a management team. Most of them are dead now, or switched side when they found that the tide was changing." With a smirk, he adds: "Now the funny thing is that the dwarfs seem to like the idea of staying there and make the mining operation their own."
[OOC: Can I consider that Owynn recovered his CON point now?]

Smythe ponders this. "Well, it's theirs if they want it. Dead End would benefit from trade with a prosperous dwarf colony. Now, tell me. What do you and your companions intend to do after this great accomplishment? We must fete you in town once you have recovered."
Cogburn chimes in, "Yeah. And do you need any assistance, ya know, gettin' the others back? Or haulin' stuff outta there? Does any of them need ta be taken into custody?"
Owynn arbors a wide smile. "The only character needing to be in custody is probably the one I brought here already!" Getting slightly more serious, he continues: "I definitely need some mules to move things from there. Probably a cart would be in order. And maybe one of the city officials would like to follow me to secure a first friendly contact with your new neighbors?"
