Hello, I just noticed that Timothy Lowell had made available some of his creations on the Internet. Amongst other things concerning other games, you can find his excellent T&T solo, The Warren, at 71.18.86.171/downloads/thewarren.rtf. Although it is excellent, it still needs a little more playtesting (there are things wrong at the beginning of the solo with the crystal ball and the combat between ogres and molemen). Tim Lowell, I don't know how to contact you, but if you are reading this, please consider the possibility to publish a corrected version of your wonderful solo via DriveThruRPG.com, Lulu or similar storefronts. I would be more than happy to buy it In my view, it's still one of the best recent T&T solos. Be sure to try also Down In The Sewer, by F. Martin Shaver and John F. Sasso. IGS Games made that solo available on their website for free, along with other T&T goodies.

I loved. This solo when it appeared in Hobbit Hole, I would definitely pay money for a stand alone copy.

Well, the author answered that he may rework it. That would be great.

Hello, I was reading an old topic on the forum and I found a link to download Tim Lowell's solo "The Warren". Unfortunately, that link isn't working anymore. Would anyone happen to have a copy? Moderator edit - Threads merged. It simply made more sense to keep it all in one place, especially when others were inquiring about the adventure and author's contact info in the original thread.

Have you considered emailing the author at the address posted up-thread?

I should have it somewhere, but it may take a while to track down. I expect it to be on a backup disk somewhere.

The issue of Hobbit Hole magazine #14 containing the solo is available on Amazon.co.uk I offer this purely as information only and in no way wish to promote anything relating to "that guy" so I won't provide a link but its there if you wish to search for it and leave it up to you

Have you considered emailing the author at the address posted up-thread? Actually, I hadn't noticed the email address. I'll try to ask him.

As I expected*, I do have a copy of The Warren. Given that Tim had it available for free download, I'd be willing to upload it to this thread, if people are OK with that. Or I can e-mail it to those who request it from me (it's quite small, only about 44 Kb). Or we can see if cacaro hears anything from Tim. Your thoughts? Obviously I wouldn't want to distribute it against Tim's wishes, so if anyone has information that suggests that he wouldn't want copies passed around now, please let me know. * I'm a pack-rat, OK?

I'm in agreement with you, Mahrundl. Since Tim did make The Warren freely available, it's going on six years since Grrraall received word that Tim may consider updating it and the original site is now off-line I would say it could be made available here. Let's give it a few days to a week to see if Cacaro hears back from Tim.
Should we choose to move forward, and/or Tim gives us permission, I would like to suggest a few guidelines: 1) We keep Tim's copyright intact on the document, 2) Keep Tim's email address posted and 3) If Tim asks us to pull his adventure, we do so without argument.
Note: I've also checked the Yahoo groups: BlueFrogTavern, RadioFreeTrollworld and TrollBridgeFiles and do not see The Warren uploaded to any of them.

Given that he made it available for free, I don't think there would be any problem. I'll let you guys know if he replies to my email.
