If anyone is looking for Down In the Sewer, which is also mentioned in the OP, an updated version is posted on the Princeofcups blog: www.princeofcups.com/tnt/

I still haven't got any reply. At this point, I think uploading the file would probably be the best thing.

OK, putting The Warren up as an attachment as per the discussion earlier in this thread, with the following caveats: - The document is (c) Tim Lowell (e-mail).
- It is provided here due to having been made freely available for download by the author previously, with the previous site now defunct and no indication having been found that the author had removed it intentionally.
- If the author requests the removal of the document from the board, that is entirely his choice and we will comply as quickly as can be managed.
Tim, if you happen to read this, I'd appreciate it if you could get in contact and provide explicit permission to host your solo, or ask us to remove it, as you prefer. Mahrundl Attachments:thewarren.rtf (43.86 KB)

To me you shouldn't be posting anything without permission. It is a quick way to get Trollbridge in trouble. If the author hasn't given you his/her permission then he doesn't want it published. Maybe he isn't answering his e-mails because its a NO?
Oh look, a new solo on DriveThru. The author isn't answering his e-mails... oh lets post it here quickly. (my 3 cents)

Not to start an argument but whether you agree or not with with this being shared without the authors explicit permission, what Mahrundl has done is in no ways the same as Oh look, a new solo on DriveThru. The author isn't answering his e-mails... oh lets post it here quickly. (my 3 cents) This is not a New Solo on DriveThru that someone decided to post here quickly and it is disingenuous to suggest that it is

Maybe he isn't answering his e-mails because its a NO? Oh look, a new solo on DriveThru. The author isn't answering his e-mails... oh lets post it here quickly. (my 3 cents) Colbite, I understand where you are coming from, but there is at least one difference here: the fact that the author himself made it freely available for download. The site where it was located is gone, for reasons that I haven't been able to determine. Had it not been previously made available as a free download by the author, I would not have put it here. Had I any indication that the author had removed it as a free download, I would not have put it here. Had the author been contactable, I would not have put it up without getting approval. We have tried his last known e-mail address, with no result. Although it was not mentioned above, people were trying to get in touch with him a little while back (I don't recall the exact reason, although I think that it related to an article that he wrote), and turned up some possibilities for a postal address and phone number for him. As far as I am aware, there was no response to enquiries via those channels either. On balance, I agreed to upload it here because I thought that it was likely that the author would not object, given the above. Am I 100% comfortable with that decision? No, I'm not, and had there been any significant indication that the author would not approve, I would not have agreed to upload it. If I ever get such an indication, it will come down immediately. If there was another (legitimate) means of obtaining the product, such as your scenario where it was available on DriveThruRPG, it would not have been uploaded here. In a related vein, I have copies of a number of now-released products that were sent to me for proof-reading; I wouldn't put them up as attachments here, because many of the above circumstances do not apply. I put some serious thought into whether or not this should happen, and while I ended up on the 'Yes' side, I remain open to being convinced to change that decision. If you can see something that you think that I've overlooked, please let me know. Mahrundl
