Well I just ran the first level of the Dungeon of the Bear as a Dungeon Deathmatch special for a group of roleplaying mates and my wife. Only my wife and I had played T&T before. It was one of the most gonzo roleplaying experiences of my life.
Dramatis Personae
Claymore - a Conanesque human warrior, a former gladiator, who had chosen to compete Talent - Swordsmanship. Alpha Bravo - a human ex member of the special forces, skilled with twin kukris, sent for failure at a suicide mission, Talent - Stealth. Harry 'the Hurricane' Hercules (aka Triple H) - a human Ranger, and elite deathball athlete (a game like Dodgeball, but with more dangerous spiked balls) condemned and framed for refusing to take a dive. Talent - Athlete Krag the Cutthroat - a dwarven Pirate, caught by the Imperial Fleet. Talent - Intimidation El Diablo - a human luchador who fights 'FOR THE PEOPLE!' . Talent - wrestling. Lucky - a leprechaun Rogue in a green shiny suit, the machiavellian manager of El Diablo. Talent - Climbing. Weird Wally the Wise - a wizard with a unicycle. Triple H's number one fan , volunteered for the Deathmatch experience on hearing of his sentence. Talent - Prestidigitation.

Highlights (Dungeon of the Bear spoiler warning) Regular requests to 'ask the audience' on which route to take (usually the most perilous possible!) Krag the Cuthroat refusing to fight unless his cutlass was vorpaled. The use of the Polymorph gem to transform a very surprised , then dead, Giant Serpent into a badger. The death of the unpopular Krag the Cutthroat by 1000 snake bites to the delight of the studio audience. The subsequent death of the replacement for Krag, a gunslinger called Johnny Fortune, who was pursued into the same pit by Ogres. His replacement was a luchador Swamp Troll 'Sol Del Muerte' (Sun of Death - yes I know...) - the heel to El Diablo's face. Despite his 15' height, green rubbery skin , and long dank hair, his true identity as a Troll was concealed from the rest of the group by his mask until this redoubtable competitor suffered death by Sphinx in a single round. Lucky the Leprechaun acquiring a golden bowler hat and then running around the rest of the dungeon under said hat. Lucky the Leprechaun running along the rams head ballista bolt after failing to warn the rest of the party of the trap he had found. Weird Wally the Wise summoning a succession of will o the wisps, none of which came up to his expectations , in the hopes of getting a non union wisp. El Diablo succeeding in a L6 stunt to throat grapple a sphinx that was going to otherwise TPK the party. Too dumb to run , too dumb to die! Claymore achieving a L9 stunt (4 roll overs!) to stun all the crocodiles in the pool of, well, crocodiles.
Twas truly glorious. The GM was able to wrack up a kill count of 4 , 3 of those being the same player!

To spin his two handed blade to create a tidal wave. It worked, exceeding expectations.
