Banoc takes the 3 gp returned by Nebless along with the 8 sp and 12 cp taken from the fallen ruffians and divides it among the six other members of the party involved in the battle. Each member receives 6 sp and 2 cp. This leaves 2 sp which Banoc gives to Finnegan since he bought breakfast.

Flick follows along behind Banoc as discreetly as he can, even considering riding on his shoulder or possibly on his pack at one point. The silver coins he had received as change back at the Eye of the Dragon weighed down on him, more in terms of bulk than in actual weight. I have to find an easier way to carry these... Pity the dog ran off, a pouch around his neck would have done wonders... the little wizard thinks. With that thought, Flick keeps an eye out for the mutt in hopes that he can still convince the canine to accompany him.
As the crowds increase, Flick becomes a bit skittish. Memories of the ill-mannered ruffian's attack fresh in his mind drive the faerie to give up and ask to ride on Banoc's pack. This close to the warrior Flick feels a measure of comfort and safety that was lacking as he hovered on the eddies of the breeze. As Banoc negotiated the sale of the weapons Flick finds a coin pouch at a leather workers booth - well for a human it would be belt pouch, for Flick could cut slits in it and wear it like an ill-fitting jerkin. Still, it gave him a place to keep his coins and wouldn't be any more difficult than carrying bags of herbs after harvest was back when he was still a simple herbalist.
With the understanding that he would be accompanying Banoc and his companions, Flick decides that a couple of days of trail rations would be a fine idea to supplement the iron rations he had been given before leaving home. Not much will degrade iron rations but eating them was like chewing on ingots. To his surprise, the faerie manages to find a vendor selling seeds, nuts, spices, fungi and pollen. Carefully selecting his purchases - with one eye out for danger - Flick buys enough to cover a couple of days with the idea that he can still forage on the trail.
After concluding his purchases and filling his waterskin at the local well, Flick returns to the relative safety of Banoc's pack and arranges himself to face backwards. After all, if he was going to hitch a ride as it were, he could at least offer some benefit to his benefactor. As Flick munches on his leftover bread and cheese from the inn, he hears the guard, Nebless, call to him, "Hey! Flick! What's foraging going to be like over in your lands? Will we be able to find enough to stretch out our food supplies?"
Flick considers, "I'm not entirely certain, Guardsman Nebless. I am unfamiliar with the area into which we are venturing. My home is on the other side of the river and significantly further north. As an accomplished herbalist, though, I would be happy to offer my opinion on plants that would be safe to eat."
[OOC - Purchased: one leather belt pouch for coins and two days of trail rations.]
