I'm turning our game into a story so warning I have little to no control over some of the characters! I can't be held responsible for them staying or going out of character! Also the story could end at any point because the characters die!
If you guys like the story let me know because it took longer than I thought and its a pain but d**n it if I will not do just about anything for a little good feedback!
The Game Part 1

The game opens on the Dragon continent in the village of Laboot two days walk from Khazan. The date is the 18th of Brittleice (Feastday) 1177 (The Year of the Sinking Ship). Two days before George's Wash.
Uther The Bodyguard sits at the bar in The Corncob Inn and sigh's. Uther has big plans for himself and as of yet they seem unrealized. He was going to become Rich! Going to become a man of vast wealth and reputation, but here he sits clad only in soft leather and a buckler with this short sword his only weapon.
The life of a adventurer wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Still, he guessed he couldn't expect too much as of yet as he had only this one contract as a bouncer at this out of the way peaceful Inn under his belt. Next time maybe he would pick something with a little more risk verse reward. To be honest with himself Uther was much more a handyman and a strong back around here than a bouncer even. The only fight in the Inn had been between two old timers from the fields arguing over chess peaces.
Uther sighed yet again. He prayed to the god of wealth for some excitement.
Bang! The front door flew open and Tall Paul the Inn proprietor barged into the Inn. Normally Tall Paul was the penny pinching sort and always wore a frown as if eternally unhappy with his lot in life. The smile plastered on his lips this morning seemed to outshine the sun!
"Well, good morning Uther! Great day that it is today I feel like a Drink, morning or no! Have a drink with me!"
"uh,ok" Uther was confused and slightly worried. Good luck or happenstance had a long history with Uther of being unreliable and circumspect.
"Evea! Girl bring us the good stuff from the cellar and two good cups to boot! Make that three girl and have a drink with us!" He yelled to the elven waitress that drew in most of The Corncobs regular customers.
She came out of the back cleaning her hands and with a look of confusion on her beautiful face but seemed more trusting of good tidings than Uther as she laughed and brought up the bottle and cups.
After the first cup of the most wonderful wine Uther had ever dreamed of Evea asked "What is this about Paul? In six years not once have you ever cracked open this win?"
Paul beamed her a smile and downed the last of his cup for effect.
"It's no secret that I despise simple country life. No,life in a city or at least on a main road for me. Only settled here because of the wife and when she up and died six years ago it took the life out of me."
Paul refilled all our cups.
"but all that is changed now,now I am rich again and on my way to make my fortune up north! I have word of the place just off the Wizards way that has a load of Thirsty Goblins with plenty of gold in there pockets and not a drink in site for days."
"I'll be leaving this miserable little village today."
After a few more cups we managed to get the story out of him. Tall Paul had been out this morning securing the ingredients for the kitchen when he happened across a Delver!
Delvers were insane homicidal madmen who combined spelunking with a love for buried treasure and death traps.
It seemed Tall Paul had come across one of the luckier ones that had somehow managed to secure himself a supply of gold. This lunatic knowing nothing of running a Inn but plenty enough about sleeping and drinking had bought Tall Paul's Inn for triple what it was worth!
Tall Paul had struck while the deal was ripe and with the transfer of wealth done and rushed back to the Inn to get his affairs in order.
"Don't look so glum lad! Had to happen sooner or later and besides I didn't say I wouldn't need a strong back with me up north! When I come back tonight after securing the deed for the new proprietor we will discuss our future arrangement and trip!"
With that Paul was once again gone and Evea and Uther were left to nurse there insecurities with the remainder of snottingshires finest wine.
