Reading a couple of the threads on here lately got me thinking (this can be dangerous ). Some people are looking for support material to their games and others don't have good outlets for their gaming energy. It would be interesting to hear what type of material the first group is looking for. As for the second group, I'm not sure if there would be interest in this or not. There is a game called "Dungeonslayers" that has an offering of one page dungeons that are great for new players/GM's of their game. I think it would be cool if we had a thread here for T&T one pagers that are submitted by the members. My thought is this would be a nice way of getting some new players interested in T&T and it would be a nice way to share ideas with each other that we could use at the table as a one-shot or suppliment to an existing campaign. I'm not thinking anything fancy here. A simple template or format that would include: Title, Level and Adds suggestions, Opening, 3-6 encounters, Closing notes, and a map if necessary. Maybe they could include a new monster or treasure as well. The main thing would be that it's easy to print out and use as is. We would just keep a running list on the OP with links to each adventure. Would anyone be interested in this? I just noticed this was my 50th post- I'm officially a Troll

I just noticed this was my 50th post- I'm officially a Troll Congratulations, Derv! Some seek trollishness others simply have it thrust upon them. Then there's those odd few that go seeking it out with magnifying glass and butterfly net. You'll find most of them listed in the members role call. Hmm... as for your suggestion on the one page dungeons, I like it. Have you seen Skathros' work on his site, Take That You Fiend!? Look in the Adventures section. I really got a kick out of them when I came across his site a few years back. I've toyed around with the idea but I haven't taken it too much further. I'd love to do a series all loosely based around the same theme for inclusion in the TrollsZine!

Prof. you know what's funny about Skathros's site? He must be a S&W player as well, because I knew I had seen those adventures before. So I took a look on the S&W SRD site and there they were under downloads. All three are very good and exactly the type of thing I had in mind. Neat that they're already set up for T&T and S&W.
I was thinking I'd try to get the ball rolling by posting one myself, but was hoping to get a little more feedback from others first. I don't want to be spinning my wheels if no ones really interested in participating. As far as Trollzine! goes, maybe this could be a testing ground for some of your ideas. I love themes.

"The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round......all around the town." Anyway, I'm going to give this a go and post a one pager that was inspired by Ken's recent article on Minotaurs. Feel free to use it and abuse it . The Minotaur's PrideA T&T Adventure for 1-4 Characters of 1st LevelOpening notes and Background:This is a pathway challenge for 1-4 1st level PC’s. It can be used as is for a quick pick-up game or inserted into an existing campaign. Feel free to up the MR’s if your party is more powerful. There is rumor of a passage to be found, amongst the never ending rocky crags of the Shadowdark Ranges, that can only be entered by the crafty and wise. At one time these mountains were the natural defense to entering Mynoos’ (the god-wizard) realm. But Mynoos was a conceited and egotistical wizard who mockingly wanted to allow his enemies a way to enter through. So he established The Minotaur’s Pride- a narrow passage that limits how many can pass and contains numerous challenges for those that do. Needless to say, very few come through onto the other side. Encounter one- the doorway puzzle:When the PC’s stumble across the pathway of The Minotaur’s Pride, They will notice an ornately carved stone doorway with bass-relief of minotaur’s in battle. Before this doorway is a stone table with six rows and six columns of depressions on its surface. Also, scattered about the ground are various colored stone figurines (something like weeble-wabbles). This is a simple puzzle that offers the PC’s six opportunities to figure out. The goal is for the GM to pick a combination of six colored figurines and have the PC’s match that combination to open the door (if you happen to have Mastermind, you could simply whip it out and play a game). The figurines include: Red Dragons, Green Goblins, Orange Cyclops, Blue Trolls, White Unicorns, and Black Manticores. After each turn, the table will lock onto any correct guessed figurines illuminating them like colored jewels. The incorrect guesses will disintegrate and the depressions will fill in flush with the table. (GM: I have enabled for six tries, you may want to allow for more). Encounter two- dancing with the devil trap:On approaching this area of the trail, the PC’s will notice smashed and splintered bones and sun bleached severed skulls littered and strewn about. This trap contains two apposing swinging obsidian scythes. Each PC will have to make a 2LSR vs. Luck the first time through. As they pass the carnage, they will notice three items of value (all shiny bobbles that attract the eye and indicate great value). These items will only be noticed once on the other side of the trap. The three items include: The Golden Shield of Ekbinorak (10 hits taken), The Silver Chalice of Lucky Fools (+10% AP’s per adventure gained to it’s holder), The bejeweled Dirk of Dexicus Bane (+5 adds vs. Minotaurs). If any of the PC’s want to dance with the devil, they must make a 2LSR vs. DEX and a 1LSR vs. Luck. All failed SR’s incur 3d6 damage from the scythes that will throw the PC onto the other side of the trap if it doesn’t kill him. (GM: once again, tailor the damage to suit your party). Encounter three- burning bacon trap:By now the PC’s will be on their toes as they see a small smoldering fire in the middle of the trail ahead. On closer inspection, they will notice the rocky surfaces on both sides of the trail and the area surrounding the fire place are scorched black. Hidden from their view are caldrons of oil that pour into channels carved into the rock and onto the pathway. The area and all in it’s midst will be saturated in the flammable liquid which will quickly ignite from the fire. 3LSR vs. Luck or take 1d6 damage for 1d3 rounds or until fire is extinguished. (GM: It is possible for the PC’s to foil this trap from a distance if they are able to extinguish the flames in the fire place by some creative means). There is also a pack of hungry Hyenas ( #2d6 MR 20) who patiently wait, hidden in the rocks, for the perfectly cooked results of this trap. Encounter four- the Minotaur's challenge:Here the trail begins to widen until the PC’s enter the open domain of the guardian Minotaur. On the other side is the passage that leads beyond the mountain ranges. The Minotaur (MR80) stands squarely in the middle of the way. There are also 8 cows (MR 20) and 3 calves (MR 10) who stand near their rocky cavern homes. The guardian Minotaur will make a simple challenge to the party- mortal combat until the last one is standing. If they defeat him, they will gain safe passage to the other side. This is not a challenge to the death. The Minotaur will only incapacitate the PC’s and move onto the others. If it appears anyone in the party of PC’s is about to use deadly force on the Minotaur, the Cows and Calves will join the battle. Otherwise, they are merely spectators. (GM: it is up to you to determine how you want to judge incapacitating the Minotaur- maybe when he’s down to 1 dice, he submits). Of special interest is that the Minotaur wears a heavy golden magical chain around his neck. This chain was an ancient gift from Mynoos that is passed from generation to generation of Minotaur path guards and gives them immunity to 1st-2nd level magic (GM: what this means is all 1st and 2nd level magic is ineffective against the Minotaur and should be discounted, but you may choose to change this if it’s not to your liking). Know this, if a party ends up slaughtering the herd in order to acquire the magical chain, this unique magical charm will vaporize on the Minotaurs death to whom it is bound. If the party fails to defeat the Minotaur, they will be turned back with strict instructions not to return with the threat of death. If the party is successful in defeating the Minotaur, he will bind all their wounds and give them adequate provisions for there travels, including 200 gp and a special healing balm with three treatments. This healing balm will heal up to 3d6 CON, but smells like s**t and causes a temporary -2 to CHR for one day.

I have three threads here on the Bridge which have my collected scenario ramblings. I firmly stand behind my motto- "As good as the money you paid for em'" ; but they're there for the yanking.

trrebmahl, thanks for the feedback. Concerning the collection you linked to, there is an annual one page dungeon contest that usually occurs within the OSR circles. That codex is the results of one of the few they had, but the adventures are all across the board in systems used and general usefulness. There are definately gems in its pages though. If you have not seen the following years of codex's, they are worth looking into.
I was more looking to create a thread that was unique to T&T and encourage an exchange in ideas amongst the board here. The truth is I get the best of my ideas when I'm bouncing them off others. As a side, I think this format is great for encouraging new players to give T&T a spin.
Also, I certainly would look forward to seeing your one page contribution.
wilowisp, I think your scenarios are perfect and that's the spirit I take as well. With your permission, I'd like to link your threads to a common thread in Resources where all such contributions could be found. What I was hoping was that the mods might want to eventually stickify the thread for others to benefit from.

Derv, I am totally on board for creating T&T specific content. Just thought I would post the link to the 2009 codex because it is something I've been looking at recently and I appreciate all the thought that went into it. Wilowisp, I've been enjoying looking at your scenarios too. Thanks for making them available. I'll have my contribution done soon.

Deep in the purple worm is amazing! The drawing/map is really impressive. I will be checking out more of these. Here is the one-pager I whipped up. Might make another one or two cause I need to work out some ideas for a game with some friends at work who have never played rpgs before. They are into Game of Thrones and Garth Nix's Old Kingdom books, so maybe I'll come up with something with an undead theme. I hope others will submit some one page adventures on this thread... I hope others will submit some one page adventures on this thread... I'm Wilowisp, and I approve this adventure! I may run this in the near future (though I'll have to ram-rod it into the campaign somehow; the only "fault" the adventure has is being hard to place in an average campaign). I especially like the polished feel you accomplish with the .PDF layout. I wish I knew how to do things like that; being techno-declined sucks sometimes........

Thanks for the comments Wilowisp! I think you're right about inserting it into a campaign. It does kind of railroad the PCs too once they get on the river. I tend to like adventures (solo and GM) that are story-based and not sandbox, but ideally there should be some flexibility. I think it's a hard balance to strike.
Re. PDFs, I'm kind of a jack of all trades: illustration (for myself), design etc... I make my PDFs from InDesign on the Mac . I think I saw a thread on here about how people make PDFs. Text Edit and MS Word should work well. Also there is Open Office which is free...

nice work trrebmahl! I've been reading Piers Anthony's "A Spell for Chameleon" and your Naga Lands gives me that feel of Xanth. enjoyed it.

Thanks Derv! Good to be reminded of the Xanth books. I loved them years ago and think they would be fun to read again. Lots of humor and puns...very T&T. If I remember rightly, they would be good for getting the creative juices going.
Thanks for starting this thread!
