I was minded to work on the monster rules article I proposed (They Know Kung Fu!) and actually get my finger out. If two monster articles will be too many I will gracefully give Prof his day of glory

Not to worry, Zanshin, I went over my notes last night and saw that they were just a few brief descriptions. The concept is there, and solid, but it still needs to be developed. With the computer classes I'm taking being my life's current focus unless the submission date is a few weeks out, like the middle of December, I probably won't be able to find the time to work on this. It can always be earmarked for a later edition of the 'Zine!

Oh Prof, if it has your normal wit and erudition I'm sure it will be an amazing article.
Mine is still just in my mind - don't let me put you off, the world deserves to see your light in Trollszine!

You should ask Charles Flemming over at Hobb Sized Adventures to either include one of his posted solos or write a new one just for the zine! Here's his web site: hobbsized.wordpress.com/

Prof, I do already have a monster article lined up (see message #13), but I really see no problem with two. Everyone needs monsters.
Zanshin, I would not count your article as a "Monster/NPC article" since it is more of a house rule article than a description of a particular monster.
So both of you, please submit your articles. I'll need articles for TZ7 around December 21.
For every one else, even if your submission does not make it into the next issue having a collection of completed articles on hand is a sure way to make sure that TrollsZine! continues and sees regular publication.

I would prefer not to use one that he has already published however.

So both of you, please submit your articles. I'll need articles for TZ7 around December 21. That should work, Danhem. I'll start playing with ideas to flesh out the background and description. It'll give me a nice brain break from all these computer acronyms... Seriously, since when do we need an acronym to refer to a group of acronyms?! Oh, right, Danhem, any thoughts as to desired word count?

Would there be any interest on Guilds and Societies (Secret and Otherwise) for an upcoming issue? Since we know there are Wizards' and Thieves' Guilds, mentioned in the rules, and most organized real-world societies had or have professional organizations filling the role of Guilds, in my game I extrapolated this into a network of sometimes overlapping organizations, often with some specialty spells and talents available only to members of those Guilds. I see this as enumerating those Guilds which would be of most interest to an adventuring character (not that the Baker's Guild isn't important to a society, but it is of limited import to your average warrior).

I'll take the writeup I did for my house rules and wallop it into a more generalized format. (My Wizard's Guild school bears a distinct resemblance to a certain fictional Scottish boarding school for Wizards & Witches, for example, so I'd better strip the serial numbers off of that ... )

Becoming a grandmother for the second time sort of ate up my summer. I did take the opportunity to introduce my daughter and son-in-law to T&T, though.
