OOC: Verner will take the front position shield and sword at the ready. Genzo will lurk to the side to try and flank anyone fighting near the room when it moves.
Why not have the mages and Clud hang back, that way if the resistance we encounter is light you can just pelt the enemy with missile weapons while the warriors engage them in melee.
Also if the mages go ballistic and attack us we'll be in two groups and less likely to be taken out all at once.

I'll make ready with missile weapons too but... just don't attack first and wonder why they don't want to talk after! We are here to get out alive, not stagger out after an endless series of mini wars."
ACTION: Make ready, then press Button 1. If all ok, Button 7. Then it's off to see the Wizards...

You press the button and hear the grinding noise. When it stops, Verner stands ready in front of the door while Balgar opens it.
The room inside is empty except for a robed body lying on the floor next to the bank of buttons. The warriors move in followed by the wizards and Clud. A quick check shows you that the body is Ostas. He has two crossbow bolts protruding from his chest and a look of shock frozen on his face.
Elethiran presses the seventh button and there is more grinding. Balgar opens the door again to reveal the starry hall leading to the wizard's chambers. The hall is littered with bodies; mostly mail-clad male and female warriors lie on the floor, but a few wizards are among them as well.

Quietly, Elethiran turns to the others. "Search them for anything useful, then we'll rearrange their bodies in a more dignified fashion. Grisly I know, but this nut house is doing its best to kill itself. We might as well glean what we can when we can whilst these lunatics keep chopping each other up - they won't notice."
ACTION: Check bodies, then rearrange to a lying position with dignity intact

Verner examines the fallen for anything of interest and searches particularly for healing items.
"Right you are, okay lets stack the bodies by affiliation, although the sisters and the Gormites seem to have at least come to a temporary alliance"
"Why don't Clud and Genzo stand guard while we are busy, no opposable thumbs make a thorough search difficult for our lycanthropic friends"

Sorting through the bodies you find five of the Gormites and six of the warrior maidens. There are also three wizards. An assortment of weapons lie about including broadswords, short swords, dirks, quarter staffs, and crossbows. On the Gormites you do find two intact pots of healing honey.
After you've arranged the bodies in a respectful manner, Falcnor notices that the door to the Wizards chamber is ajar.

Ozmenton grabs a dirk, as you can never have have too many weapons in the deranged place. He leaves the healing honey to whomever needs it most, and casts a curious look at the door ajar.

The Elf gathers the best of the crossbows and as much ammunition as she can gather, plus a broadsword and a dirk. Then she looks at the gear she's amassed and turns to Clud "Time for you to play pack horse, bear." She redistributes the load between herself and Clud, who carries backpacks like saddlebags and ready to shrug off at a moments notice.
She moves to the ajar door and looks in through the gap.
ACTION: Load the crossbow, take a look through the gap in the door

Verner hands both of the pots of healing honey to Elethiran.
"Alright lets get these applied to Clud-Bears infected wounds before they can spread any more"
"If the first jar doesn't do the trick hopefully the second will, while you do that I'll go take a peek through the partially open door and stand guard"
Verner suits action to words and investigates the partially open door.

"Yes!" said Elethiran, and started smearing the honey on Cluds wounds.
ACTION: Healing pot on Clud. If that doesn't do the trick on its own, try the other one as well

Elethiran smears the healing honey on Clud's wounds. As she applies the sticky substance, Clud's wounds begin to close. Applying the second, the wounds heal even more (Clud regains 10 CON). Despite the healing effects of the honey, however, Clud's wounds still seem wrong. Elethiran begins to suspect that her comrade is somehow diseased or cursed.
Elethiran collects a light crossbow, a quiver of bolts, a broadsword, and a dirk. She notes that she already has a light crossbow in her possession.
Ozmenton collects a dirk and sticks it in his belt.
Moving forward, Verner peers in through the open door. The door appears battered. The lock and latch have been smashed.
Inside, Verner sees the mage's chamber. It is well-lit with lanterns. As he looks around he hears a shout.
"It is you!"
One of the apprentice mages moves into Verner's view with a staff held firmly in his hands.

Ozmenton freezes. He looks intently through the door, waiting for the events to unfold, but at the same time ready to act or cast a spell if needed.
