I'm not even sure that MS&PI has multiple editions...
In any case, when I bought the book from Flying Buffalo a couple of years ago, that was the cover on it. It's apparently still available there for $9.95 new, so I can't see any reason for the price being so high. In fact, you can buy everything that FBI sells for MS&PI as a package deal for $39.95, so I'd say that the eBay auction is definitely overpriced unless there's something unique about the book.
Looking at the seller's eBay store, a fair amount of stuff seems to be priced rather high.
It does. There are 3 editions, two of which are identical in content.

I coulda sworn I had detailed (for what little it's worth there are so few changes) the differences of the printings somewhere 'round here... If I'm not lazy later maybe I can dig it up.
Suffice it to say...short version: the 'updates' in the Sleuth printing were pointless and not useful if I remember correctly. The only thing that sticks with me about the Sleuth Printing is how horrible and weak the paper quality was. It's like holding a wet comic book. Avoid the Sleuth printing always and forever if you can. The first (Blade) printing of MS&PE is every bit as thick and tough as the T&T Seventh Printing of 5th ed.
