I released my Millenniums & Mutations supplement for T&T that allows you to play a post-apocalyptic game using T&T rules. You can get it HERE if you want to explore the genre.

Nicely done. It captures the feel of other PA games but doesn't feel like it is trying to copy them.
I'm surprised you are offering this for free.

All my stuff is free. Otherwise it would be a business...not a hobby.

Thanks Wizardawn. Another great resource. Flamethrowers and plasma pistols- sounds fun.

(Downloads and reads) Ookla! Ariel! We RIDE!!! But first, we EXALT!!! Seriously, I love this-perfect for my MS&PE games too! I do have one minor quibble-I notice that you have Abilities that multiply certain abilities, (CN, DX, movement speed) but leave others in the cold. Was this a deliberate choice? I can see you leaving out IQ and CH since Humans exemplify that nadir in the natural (unevolved)world, but i'd likely make Mighty(Double starting ST) an option for evolved Bears, Apes etc. I like the fact you're setting the more outre 'superpower' Abilities aside-after all, if I want to run some weird X-men game I just make every PC a Rouge type with a single Spell of some sort and no access to the Teacher spell, right? You know, I need to get out my MS&PE book-I just pictured this Future human with Clever, the Psychic Skill Psychometry and secret 21st century Skills such as Electronics and Medicine, escaping from his Fallout Shelter Cargo Cult only to team up with Zartor , Lord Greyback, an Ape raised by humans and anointed 'Lord of the Humans', with Primitive Survival and Brawling skills, plus a Title... ;D ;D ;D Sigh. I'm going to run out of Coffee again playing with this tonight, I just know it... BYW Wizardawn-do you think an edited version of this might make it to the next Trollzine?

I do have one minor quibble-I notice that you have Abilities that multiply certain abilities, (CN, DX, movement speed) but leave others in the cold. Actually, they are "abilities" that multiply certain "attributes". I don't want to confuse others. Was this a deliberate choice? I can see you leaving out IQ and CH since Humans exemplify that nadir in the natural (unevolved)world, but i'd likely make Mighty(Double starting ST) an option for evolved Bears, Apes etc. Not deliberate, just overlooked...so I updated the rules today to add "Strong" and "Lucky" as abilities but only to a few humanoid types. You will have to house rule anything else after that. Also keep in mind that you can mutate however you want. The tables I give for what humanoids can do are suggestions only. If you want a humanoid shark that can fly...go ahead. Just follow the rules on page 7 and let them pick up to 4 abilities from the tables starting on page 8. I like the fact you're setting the more outre 'superpower' Abilities aside-after all, if I want to run some weird X-men game I just make every PC a Rouge type with a single Spell of some sort and no access to the Teacher spell, right? I don't even want to attempt broaching the super hero genre with an RPG. My experience has been they are really hard to keep some semblance of balance. Do you think an edited version of this might make it to the next Trollzine? I doubt it. When I make my little booklet of rules, I try to keep it as condensed as I can as I like to try and reproduce the little books from the late 70's where it is simply folded in half and stapled in the center...where you have a complete book. I also like how Kindle-friendly they are being booklet size. With that said, a magazine could not accommodate the 50+ pages of stuff here.

This is AMAZING Wizardawn! I have exalted you ( you deserve many exalts for this), but I will go one better than that by promising you that before the summer is out, we will actually have put this ruleset in play. The teenage boys in my group have been clamoring for a PA game!

Outstanding Wizardawn. I love the PA genre. Another Exalt is coming your way.
I agree that the rules themselves are too long for TrollsZine! and not really necessary since you've already published them. You could put an ad for the book into the next issue, however. Articles, monster descriptions, or scenarios using the rules would also be great.

And so my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness and After the Bomb RPGs become just another T&T sourcebook...I LIKE that! Of course, my long labor of distilling all Palladium sources into Land of the Pharaohs in order to make a 'Palladium Basic RPG' have seemingly been wasted now... ...aaaaand i'm over it. ;D Time to convert me some After the Bomb Psychic Powers to Wizardawn's PAT&T and throw away yet another set of polyhedral dice...

Well, well well...i'm seeing:
Lots and lots of Robots and Cyborgs, many of Alien manufacture.
Of the non-alien machines and machine hybrids, power sources range from the super-advanced Future Tech (Plutonium Liquid, Nuclear clips) all the way to the oddly primitive (Steam, Clockworks).
Mutated men and beasts, including strange hybrids of multiple species, mutated species that were considered extinct for millions of years, and humanoids permanently altered by radiation and disease.
I'm betting Wizardawn's Apocalypse of choice was...an alien invasion. The war to conquer Earth was obviously long and protracted, with the Alien's choice weaponry being an arsenal of biological constructs created from Earth genomes and robotic servants. The Terrans countered with Robots of their own, lead by Cyborged Field Marshals. Judging by the sheer variety of power sources, the war was obviously long and bloody, with a resource shortage leading to jury-rigged, primitive replacement tech on many of the War Machines.
In the end it would seem(judging by the massive reduction of Human vs Other population, and specific Human-only afflicted beings) that the aliens released a series of bio-plagues that targeted Human immune systems but to which the Invader's bio-constructs were largely immune to. In retaliation it is likely that a dying Human populace unleashed the planet's Nuclear Arsenal as a type of Scorched Earth retaliatory strike. This appears to have ended hostilities, as no Alien races themselves are in the guide. The question being of course-why would an Alien Coalition (multiple races) team up against the Earth? One might assume (as the Alien Races preferred Constructs and Robots in Warfare) that the planet did not present a pleasant environment to them, and since it was not kept as a resource after the wars-perhaps the Aliens were simply after the destruction of the Human race, whether for some actual offense or some fear that it would eventually be a threat.
Since there are no trace of Alien Races to be found but Alien machines remain, it can be conjectured that-
A) the Aliens were satisfied that Humans were no longer a threat to them and left the Earth to repair itself, leaving the bio-constructs to evolve and thrive in the new biosphere, and abandoning their durable and long-running machines to eventual decay.
B) As above, but the Alien Races were so aghast at the outcome of the conflict that they vowed never to return and left Earth to rebuild.
C) As (A) above-but the Alien Coalition remains watching from beyond the stars, using the long-lived Alien Robots as monitoring devices. Woe betide Earth if the various New Races pull themselves from barbarism and back into a High Tech culture-for once again the Alien Races may declare War upon Earth-.for whatever reasons they did so before....
Am I close, or did I misread the clues and jump my conclusions off the nearest cliff? ;D

I have no idea what brought an end to the world. All of the elements added could have been the "end" or aliens could have come and gone after the "end", did some more bad stuff, and left...leaving more mutants or aliens behind. It is really up to the game master to decide...often times never telling the players what brought the end of the world.

I sort of figured that-but all of the VERY COOL STUFF makes me want to indulge in what Philip Jose Farmer called 'literary archaeology'! In other words, it really sparks the imagination. The strange species and indescribable mix of futuristic and anachronistic tech reminds me a great deal of Gene Wolfe's Chronicles of the New Sun series, old and dear friends of mine...
