A small door in a dingy corner of the tap-room is flung open. Vincenzo nonchalantly slides his way through, the excited crowd following, Nebless pretty much carried along in the excited press of Kendor's dregs. He observes purses opening and hears the hurried jabber of wagers being made... Can I ask who is accompanying Nebless to meet his fate? Finnegan Cole at least is tagging along - "Can't have you getting into trouble without me to bail you out of it," he whispers to the Dwarf with his usual wicked grin... What about the rest of the party? De Morsac: LKSR. Dice roll: 2 + 2 (Doubles roll and add over) +1 + 2 + LK 9 + 4 Tracker ability = 20. Success! Just. AP gained: 7.De Morsac finds it terribly hard to tear his gaze away from the distracting Jasani, but notes the fat man and his immediate entourage are following the crowd through the door, pausing only to rouse an overweight middle-aged man dressed in distinctly tattered once-finery who has been slumbering head down on a table surrounded by several empty wine bottles. " Cadwallon? Stir yeself, ya drunken sot!" the fat man snarls; "Yer on!" A couple of his lads drag the still largely-unconscious fellow to his feet and pull him stumbling along in the excited crowd's wake. The bar is now largely empty, bar a few figures lurking in various solitary shadows for reasons known to them alone... Your intentions, please.

And Master Nebless may want to check his AP score - I suspect a Level Up may be imminent... Bit confused as I showed I only had 944 prior to this, so the 30AP would only bring me up to 974ap, still short of the 1000 I need. Or did you hold my AP as higher than 944 at the start? O.O.C: Did you include the 100 AP bonus I gave everybody back in December?

O.O.C: Did you include the 100 AP bonus I gave everybody back in December? Checking my note's it appears that no I did not update my AP numbers for either of my characters. So in that case I think I'll add Nebless Lvl increase to his LUCK number and if I did it right; Orig 13. Lk x New Level which should be 4 to give me a new LUCK score of 17. That should push my Combat Add's up to +22. And with that it's into the PIT!!!! Oh lucky me (no pun intended)

Master Ho still stays put, waiting a little longer for the events to unfold.

Okay, just to clarify - I have Nebless and Finnegan heading for the pit. Master Ho (and by extension Flick) are staying in the bar. I'm ruling Banoc is doing the same, the rogue's eyes carefully scanning the surroundings and the other few remaining patrons.
Am I right in thinking De Morsac is staying with the fair Jasani?
And what of Dumfis?

Seeing Nebless and Finnegan leaving the barroom, Dumfis will attach himself to their little train.
Speaking to Finnegan; "Sahib he is a big one. He has fought giants like this before?"

He will focus mainly on Cadwallon. "They wouldn't have bothered to wake up the overweight drunkard if he was as useless as he looks" reflects de Morsac. As soon as Cadwallon (or any of his friends) makes anything suspicious (including, but not limited to, arcane gestures or mutterings), de Morsac will stab him in the back.

O.O.C: Did you include the 100 AP bonus I gave everybody back in December? At the end of chapter ( (on March 1st, 2014, to be exact), de Morsac had 898 APs. Since then, he gained 41 APs, which makes a grand total of 939 APs. Addind the December bonus (100 AP), de Morsac now has 1,039 APs, which makes him a 2nd-level warrior. I'll apply my level bonus to LK. Thus, 9 + (2x2) = 13 LK

(O.O.C: Sorry for the delay - busy week. Congrats to de Morsac on making 2nd Level! Here we go again...)De Morsac rises to his feet, his suspicious gaze locked on the staggering, shabby drunk being hauled in the direction of the door through which Nebless, Dumfis, Finnegan and the excited crowd are disappearing... "Hoi! What about me?" pouts an indignant Jasani...

"Shouldn't be a problem," Finnegan replies airily with that worrying smile of his; "Big men fall all the harder is what I always say..."

Master Ho wonders if he should continue to stay still while his companions face danger. He attempts to discreetly ask the same to his faery companion without attracting too much attention.

Within Master Ho's satchel, Black Cockerel common room, Seedy side of KendorFrom within the confines of the spirit master's satchel Flick hears the quietly voiced query. "I doubt it's safe," he responds, "But we won't be able to help much from out here. Let's chance it so we can keep a discreet eye on our companions. If need be, we can always quietly exit and go for help."
