Gah! Why am I doing probability calculations at 6 am on Saturday?!?

Because you're a gamer, man. It's what we do.
I actually also really like the idea of rolling 4 and dropping whatever you want to get the TARO. I have played around with the whole "roll 4 drop 1" method a few months ago and couldn't figure out how to do it and keep the TARO idea, but this could work, if making TARO more probable.

I'm also a mathematician (majored in Pure Maths). I *still* don't know why I was doing probability at that time of the morning!

I'm a mathematician by training, too (undergraduate comprehensive major in pure math, and Masters of Science in Applied Math), and it's only 2 a.m. now, but I also calculate the chance of getting TARO with "4D6 drop 1" as 2/27. So if both mahrundl and khaydhaik calculate it as 2/27, it's gotta be 2/27, eh?

I like the character creation attribute tables. Sometimes the multipliers get to me, especially when my step-son refuses to play anything but Balruks. Humans definitely need something to help represent them as "average".
Thank you Hogscape for taking time to put your house rules up for us. A belated Exault!

I am guessing this is close enough mathamaticlly to just use the dice charts?

Hey. NICE site, Hogscape! It's so....so...clean! So easy to read. Simple. Very nice.
Now ya just need some "jump down to" kind of links for the different parts.

Apologies WSmith, I haven't done a thing on the website for an age. I'm planning on doing a nice iWeb site once I get the chance. Thanks for the interest.

No problem. Have you and your players played with this lately? I have to say again I love the idea of the whole DARO based AP awards and monster ability activations. I would like to try to figure out how to make that happen in a standard T&T game, (I guess there wouldn't be much modifiying, other than what amount of AP/XP to give out per DARO rolled.) I am not a fan of keeping track of all the saving roll results, magic points spent, etc.
