Master Ho casts The Occult Seal. L1CHASR. Dice roll: 5 + 1 + CHA 14 = 20. Success! AP gained: 6 + 1 for spell casting. Master Ho's STR down to 8.
The shaman's tattoos glow again and again the spirits are favourable to his request! A sudden flash of pale blue light momentarily illuminates the door, causing Jasani to jump away with a yelp of alarm, before it vanishes as quickly as it appeared, leaving the only light in the corridor the eerie glow dancing at the end of Master Ho's staff.
An increasingly frenzied cavalcade of thuds, thumps and crashes hammer against the far side of the door to absolutely no effect. Abruptly, all sounds of the attack cease. De Morsac, pressed up against the door as he is, thinks he can hear the muffled sounds of a heated conversation occurring back on the Pit side of the door...

Nebless leads the rest of the company away from the tavern and back down the dark, foul-smelling alleyway in search of better lit streets and better ale...
Anything special you guys want to do, or is it straight back to the Dragon's Eye?

Anything special you guys want to do, or is it straight back to the Dragon's Eye ? Never split the group ...... Never split the group ..... Never split the group. Well Ollie this is another fine mess you've gotten us into! Nothing special just straight back and wait for the others to re-join.

Master Ho turns around again, and progresses to the other end of the corridor up to the wooden door to have a look at it.

Within Master Ho's satchel, Secret passage under the Black Cockerel, Seedy side of KendorFlick rode the shift and sway of Master Ho's satchel, bracing himself against the sides to keep his place at the top of the contents. A cry of fear, a solid sounding "Thump!" as if a door had been slammed shut, a steadily increasing glow followed by a quick flash and a raucous pounding as of fists upon a door. By the Mother, what is going on out there...?The little wizard, tired of his confinement, shifts, wriggles, squirms and finally pokes his head out from under the flap of Master Ho's satchel. Craning his neck about he sees themselves in an all-but-deserted hallway, lit by the Spirit-master's staff, and approaching a closed door. Flick grabs his heavy, four-pronged fishhook and string, secures his blackthorn staff and pulls himself all the way out of the stuffy confines. A brief drop, a snap and hum of wings and the little faerie is once more airborne. With a quick, swooping flight the diminutive wizard takes up station at eye level and to Master Ho's left. "So, Nebless won and we are in a hallway, behind a secret door, which leads to the gladiator pit under a disreputable bar on the seedy side of town. Where do you think that door leads?" Flick asks pointing ahead with his fishhook. | WhisperFlick Fairy Wizard Lvl: 2 Att: 2d+12 / +24 Def: 6 ST: 4 IQ: 7 LK: 17 CN: 4 DX: 24 CH: 21/31 Blackthorn Staff: 31

There is another yelp from Jasani as Flick flies free of the shaman's pack.
"What in all the Burning HELLS -??" she squeals, jumping back...
But then she realises what she's looking at and her dark eyes all but glaze over, taking in the iridescent blur of Flick's shimmering wings.
"Coooo, ain't you pretty?" she breathes, gazing at the Fairy Mage intently...

Meanwhile, Nebless and co suddenly find Melisande the elf walking alongside them, although none of them can quite say where she came from.
"That was quick," she remarks tersely. "Well? What have you found out?"
"And what's happened to the others?" she asks, taking in your depleted numbers...

'I wish you wouldn't do that. It upset's the horses' drawl's Nebless as he works to regain his composure.
'Found out? That a good body roll trump's standing about.' 'And if that's not enough, too bad.' 'Truth tell, We met some old friends and got caught up catching up on old times.'
'As to the other's, De Morsac met a young lady and is coming back a different way.' 'Master Ho is chaperoning so don't worry.' Nebless say's off-handedly.

Melisande's eye flashes green fire.
"That tells me precisely nothing, Dwarf," she snaps. "What do I care about that scarlet-pantalooned fools' amours? You were sent to find information, not doxies! Speak plainly!"

AS THINGS STAND... (Again... )Our party of heroes returned to Kendor after a brief expedition to the ruins of Caern Serenath and a brief stop-over in the village of Mirane. Upon returning, they found themselves caught up in a battle with horrific Smoke Demons that left a dead man, a human girl and a leprechaun disappearing into the back alleys and a two thirds of a beautiful, broken golden torc in the party's possession.
A night of strange dreams for some was followed by attempts to pawn the treasures gained on their expedition. Unfortunately the torc was confiscated by Nebless' bane and commanding officer - Captain Lyeth of the Kendor Watch.
However, soon afterwards our heroes were approached by Marish - captain of the local chapter of the Worshipful Company of Rogues. It became clear to them that a Guild war between rival factions in the town was underway. Marish hired our heroes to investigate the BLACK COCKEREL tavern - thought to have connections with his shadowy opposition. Their task is threefold:
1: Find the still-missing third of the broken torc, believed to be in his enemies' possession. 2: Find the two still-missing members of his Guild involved in stealing the thing in the first place - a human girl called Teres and a Leprechaun lass by the name of Sorcha. 3) Put a name to the leader of this rival band if possible.
Accompanied by one of Marish's lieutenants, a beautiful elf maid by the name of Melisande, the party have made their way to the BLACK COCKEREL. Their elven escort has remained outside while they entered the den of iniquity. De Morsac proceeded to sweet-talk the tavern's singer, the beautiful Jasani, while Nebless spotted an old acquaintance in the shadows, the fat, wall-eyed thug responsible for leading the attack upon the fairy wizard Flick that first brought our heroes together.
An attempt at a friendly re-introduction to the thug by the notoriously-uncharismatic Nebless led to blades drawn all round our heroes throughout the tavern and a challenge to a death-match in a fighting pit by Vincenzo, apparently the brother of a ruffian previously cut down by the company when they first met Flick. A bit of spectacularly dirty fighting on the part of Nebless brought the fight to an abrupt end, while at the same time the keen eyes of de Morsac the tracker detected signs of recent construction having taking place in the pit chamber. Master Ho called upon the Spirits of Truth to show that which was hidden, revealing a secret door that de Morsac, Master Ho and Flick duly passed through, accompanied by the alluring Jasani. Unfortunately Nebless, Dumfis and the rest of the party became separated from their comrades and chose to beat a hasty retreat from the tavern before any more trouble came their way.
Nebless and company are now returning to the Dragon's Eye, accompanied by a distinctly annoyed-looking Melisande.
Master Ho, Flick, de Morsac and Jasani find themselves in a short wooden corridor. Master Ho's magic has sealed the secret door against the thugs pursuing them and is now striding purposefully towards another door at the far end of the passage. Flick has just emerged from Master Ho's pack, much to the astonishment of Jasani, who is eyeing his wings with great interest...

'Melisande? Do you know of any secret entrances to or from the 'Black Cockerel'?' 'Right before everything went south a secret door appeared leading from the fighting pit.' 'It looked like the rest of the group was trying for it.'
Based on what she has to say we'll either head for it or continue back towards 'The Dragons Eye'.

"Ladies first!" De Morsac gently pushes Jasani in front of the small group and winks at Master Ho, whispering: "You never know..."
