"Got it." The call ends.
You think, and you can remember yesterday.
Are you wishing to wait where you are until the expungers arrive, or...something else?

Something else...
Jacob goes back to the barn and searches the Falcon for things of value: flashlights, maps, anything. He takes these items (if any) back to Bradley's car.
He then calls Phelps.

You find none of the listed things in the Falcon, or anything else of import.
You call Phelps, but it goes straight to his voice mail without ringing. Would you care to leave a message?

Jacob doesn't leave a message.
Out of sight in the darkness, he waits in his car until someone shows up. Depending on who arrives first will dictate his next action.

You wait about a hundred yards down the road from the safe house. The night turns chilly. It is Cairo so it really never gets too cold, just chilly; it's in the mid-60s tonight.
At 12:41 a car pulls up next to the safe house. Out steps two people. They approach the safe house's front door and knock. Of course, you can't see any details.
They are just shadows. Everything is shadows.

Jacob instinctively ducks down in his seat, while he peers over and around the top to watch what the men do.
If he can tell that the the men go inside he will approach their car to ascertain its make and model.

The two shadows knock on the door for a couple of minutes, then test the knob, finding it unlocked. Slowly, one of them opens the door and after a quick look inside, they vanish through the opening.
You creep from your hiding place and cover the hundred yards at a cautious run, finding that these two are in an Audi A6.

If it does not appear that anyone is inside, Jacob -- while keeping an anxious eye on the door -- will see if the Audi is unlocked.
If it is, he will open it and search it for interesting/noteworthy items.
If locked, he'll attempt to pick the lock with his lockpicks.

The Audi is locked. Taking out the pen Phelps gave you, you flip the switch that produces the lockpicks, and begin working on the lock.
Make a L1SR-DEX.

Jacob manipulated the lockpicks inside the car door lock, but nothing seemed to click.
12:40, Today: Jacob Fleury rolled 4 using 2d6 with rolls of 3,1. DX SR .
Hmpf.

Try as you might, the lock just won't give. You realize no matter how long you try, further manipulations will result in nothing.

Jacob returns to his car and continues his hiding. While there, he looks for a place to run to and hide should the need arise.
In his mind, the die has been cast: he has no present intent to make contact with the two expungers purportedly sent by Phelps. He intends to wait for the man Mockinbird arranged to come.
But he continues watching, to see (as best as he is able) what the two men do. In particular, he is interested to see if they leave, and if so whether they bring out the bodies.

A few minutes later, the two people leave the safe house and walk to their car. The trunk is opened, and each person takes a large box out of the trunk and returns to the safe house.
You wait...
You look for a place to run and hide should the need arise. There's tall grass all around you, on every side. Maybe there?
You wait about an hour. It's now 1:40 a.m. It dawns on you that it could be possible that "Anderson" may arrive while the expungers are still in the safe house, apparently cleaning the place.

Jacob Fleury keeps an eye out in the hope of spotting Anderson; if so, and if the circumstances are right, he may try to intercept him.

A few more minutes pass, and the two figures re-emerge from the house. They each hold one end of a long, large, and bulky bag. They walk over to their car, open the trunk, and place the bag inside the trunk and close it. They return to the house. A few minutes later, they come out with another, similarly shaped bag. They walk to their car, and place it in the trunk as well, then return to the house.
It's 1:56 a.m. when another car pulls up. It stops near the duo's Audi. The driver slowly gets out of his car, and takes a close look at the Audi, then glances up to the safe house.
