Okay, this is what I'm using for monster reference now. I compiled it from the Wandering Monster charts in the dT&T book (the blue-titled entries) and Wizardawn's Magestyck Monster List, figuring the variant MRs with my trusty calculator, plus eyeballing the Special Powers. Since monster figgerin' is kind of wide open, YMMV. Anyway, enjoy, and comment as desired. I'd be interested in feedback, if for no other reason than to make this list better. -SJTnT Monster List.pdf (43.58 KB)

Excellent quick and dirty list. I do like the special abilities. Thanks very much for sharing. A monster manual, in 1.5 pages!

I would think some of your scaled MRs would have a larger range? Bulette 105-135 could be 105, 210, 420? Ken would increase by similar amounts as you did, but also double it too. I used to figure out MRs ahead of time and make charts like this but now I find it works so much better for my campaign to make them on the fly (sometimes even scaling them higher in the first round of rolls!) I access Wizardawns site as well for more known monsters, but lately I'm looking for weirder stuff and pick 26 monsters (one for each letter in the alphabet) to get me started. My fave monster site
Everyone does what works for their campaign. For mine, I take hit dice x 15 to get a L1 (Normal) MR, and then similar to the wizard dawn ratings I'll double that further, deciding in the moment, how much I want to smack the group around in a particular fight: BuletteEasy aka wounded/baby half MR68 Normal as figured MR135 Challenging MR270 Difficult MR540 Heroic MR1080 Epic x MR2160 I'll take 10 - AC x 2, so in this case the bulettes armor stops 24 (12 in its eyes) I have to be tough, cause the ten characters in my game average out to +136 adds each. Crazy ass dT&T stat leveling.

Cast some magic on those characters and cut them down to size! (Even if you let them off the hook later on...)

I did something similar but lack the net-foo to put it on line. I can share that many of my monsters are creatures from medieval heraldry, including the dangerous and humiliating Bonacon.
