The men clinging to the driftwood, as well as the nearest pieces of wreckage, are each about twenty yards from the Morbelos' ship. Malutassial realizes the two men and the wreckage are out of range of either of his spells.
Captain Pheolix looks at Runkild. "So, is that a "yes" lets' pick them up, or a "no", let's don't." He then turns his steely gaze to Winip. "And what say you, quiet one?"
Captain Pheolix takes a tally. "Three for, two against, one undecided. I don’t like this, but we’ll pull them out." He bellows the command for the helmsman to veer toward the two survivors of the shipwreck, and drawing near, a crewman tosses them a line.
As they grab hold of the rope and begin to be hoisted aboard by Rowan and two other crewmen, do any of the spellcasters in the party use magic? And what of the non-spellcasters, what do they wish to do?

Random rubbed the knot on his head. He liked picking these two up less than the captain. Expecting the worst he got in his Cast-a-Spell stance. If these two drifters tried some skullduggery, he was gonna let them have it with a TTYF spell.

Winip will glare at Khloemar as if it was his fult that the survivors had been brought aboard.
He will then draw his common sling and causually hold it in one hand while his other hand is resting on his pouch of stones. He isn't going to fire a shot yet, but he wants to be one of the first to take action if things turn nasty.
Malutassial casts Detect Magic at the duo. What you "see" is neither a good nor bad emanation, but the type of grayish aura that comes from a fellow spellcaster. It's centered on the smaller of the two men.
Assisted by the crewmen, the two are pulled over the rail. Neither looks very good. They're banged up, with noticeable wounds on their foreheads and cheeks.
Any quick actions before the two get their bearings?
When you arrive you see the remnants of a ship litters that area of the sea---broken beams, masts, and twisted, shredded pieces of sail. But what’s worse, is you see two people, both human male, clinging to driftwood.
Runkild raises an eyebrow when he sees the two newcomers step into the boat, especially the small one from which emanates the aura. He does not move yet, but slowly puts his hand near the handle of his sabre.

Random kept his knees bent, balance equally distributed over each foot, right hand raised in the air. He didn't know quite what to do with his left hand, so he let it hang there, at his side. One wrong move, and *POW* these two would get it.
He heard Zagnar mention his name, but didn't quite hear everything he said. He assumed he was talking about his sandals. "Stop making fun of my sandals, there much more appropriate for shipboard life than boots, not that I can't afford boots, mind you."
ooc: Can others "see" the effects of a Detect Magic?
