Runkild laughs in himself at the audacity of the priest and, seeing all he others toss money at him, he figures that his scam is definitely working. Harboring his usual smile, he gives 2 coins as well and moves on. He will vote to stay near Random, probably the only one of his companion who seems to have his head firmly on his shoulders (for now).
The party keeps the priests busy after they offer prayers for Rochin del Graz. First Malutassial and then Khloemar, Winip, and Runkild make sacrifices of gold for the perceived benefit of a pardon within Darksmoke's halls. Indeed, they receive, according to the priests, The Grace of Darksmoke.
Random quaffs the contents of the potion, Vitamin of the Gods, and feels its chill, numbing fluid rush through his system. It tastes like icy peppermint schnapps. Afterward, he feels ... nothing, but his CON has been doubled permanently.
As Zagnar, Winip, Random, and Runkild converse about a marching order, the tight knot of people south of the party parts and through the cavity comes Broadaxe in a large open carriage drawn by four horses. Bumping along the path, he reins-in alongside the group.
The carriage has enough room for everyone and their gear. Barely. As Broadaxe mentioned in the tavern it is tight confines, and engaging in combat in such a conveyance would come at a severe penalty. Nonetheless, it should take them to the mountain faster than traveling by foot.
"All aboard!" Broadaxe announces, jovially.

Feel free to post here.
Afterward, this will conclude Chapter II, wherein the hardy band of heroes economized their time and proceeded in a straight-forward manner to the supply shop, the meeting with their guide at the tavern, and made plans to head at once for the mountain, forgoing most of what the village has to offer (with the exception of Random) despite the ample time they had. Was this a good thing, a bad thing, or did it make any difference at all? Perhaps time will tell. Or perhaps not.
I've assigned adventure point bonuses to everyone. You may wish to peruse that and other info about your character in the GMs Scratchpad thread (Random, you'll notice your new CON). Chapter III will commence in a day or two.

Random bounds with sandaled feet up to the carriage and hops onboard. He takes a seat at one end and says, "Well, come on, people, what are you waiting for? It's time we met Mr. Mupriozin, or our Doom, whichever comes first.
"You know, this reminds me of a song..." Random begins warming-up his vocal chords by practicing the scales.
OOC: Random is fine with his place in the marching order.
