I'm curious, what are your favorite solos that you have played? I've read some favorable mention of Red Circle and Blue Frog Tavern. Is it your favorite perhaps Buffalo Castle for being the first one? And with your choice for said adventure I would value knowing why it is your choice. Does it have good traps? Is it well written? Does it have clever encounters? What makes it more favorable to you then others. Thank you.

Sorcerers solitaire is one of my favourites. Very entertainingly written, and a great flavour of gonzo. Also one of the few designed for wizards.
City of Terrors is a remarkable achievement. So much detail, and The feel of an adventure Conan would have.
I really like teleport dungeons, and both death trap equaliser and beyond the silvered pane have seen much play.

My favorite bears a striking resemblance to my icon, Overkill by Michael Stackpole. Hey, wait, it is my icon.
Why it's my favorite...there's an interesting background and encounters, but mainly the dark fantasy setting, atmosphere, mood, and the big bad boss, the "butcher-necromancer" Marionarsis, make it a winner. Also, it takes itself seriously, there's no silly encounters/situations in this solo.
Throw in the fantastic color cover and interior illustrations by Chris Carlson, and *POOF* you have a classic.
You can't go wrong with any of the Michael Stackpole solos, IMO. If I had to rank them, I'd go:
Overkill Sewers of Oblivion City of Terrors Dargon's Dungeon (the Mike Stackpole re-written version). Red Circle

Khaghbboommm has captured my attention for the most different solos, frequently involving actual role playing. CharrL has those wonderful and witty mini-solos. Of the classics, I am still in love with City of Terrors... But Agent of Death seems at once a classic AND New School. Can't choose only one!
