I quite enjoy finding gems of times past and the site you've linked to certainly has a number of them. I can't help but wonder, though, about copyright. Each of the adventures listed is copyrighted by it's author and, unless I'm mistaken (brain's a bit frizzled), they're all official adventures. Do you know, mazinkaesar, if the creator of the software obtained permission from Ken, Rick, et al to include the rule set and adventures in their software? Neither T&T, any edition, nor the adventures written for it have been abandoned or could be considered abandonware, even if some of them are currently out of print. Following the thought out, this kinda runs into conflict with what MetaArcade is doing for the mobile platforms, not that there's much chance of actual competition. I'm sorry, I don't mean to squash your enthusiasm for sharing such a find, we've just had difficulties in the past with folks not honoring copyright and it's become a bit of a touchy subject.

I removed the link and I will try to find if the programmer also has the license to use this material.

mazinkaesar, I hope you don't take Prof's question as a personal accusation. I don't think anyone would impute to you any ill intent, we're just vigilant about intellectual property. Hail T&T 7.5! 5th edition! Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls!

I'm a little late to the party on this one, and the link was removed by the time that I saw the post.
However, if it is the site that I think that it is, then I very strongly suspect that this is not approved by Flying Buffalo. Apart from anything else, there is an illegitimate scanned copy of the 5th edition rules listed in the downloads, and it's one that has been floating around online for years. Not something that I'd expect to see with an approved product.
mazinkaesar, your post about this is much appreciated, as is your removal of the link when the issue of copyright was raised. As gaptooth and ProfGremlin have said, no accusation against you is intended, we're just concerned about the intellectual property implications. If this turns out to be licensed, I for one will be very pleased to have a play around with it!

Guys, I fully understand and I'm aware there is nothing against myself. I will contact the developer and I will ask about his work. EDIT: the Amiga version is also post on Aminet, the historical web archive of Amiga software. Usually, they control about the content of the archives and every archive has a readme file. It was my fault to forget to say the program is freeware, implemented and maintained by developer without any profit. I am still investigating

I am still investigating Freeware doesn't matter for copyright nor trademark violations, only for the compensatory damages.
