Just a quick heads up: I noticed that Ken St. Andre is going to be putting his solo adventure "Trollhammer" up for sale as a pdf on Drivethrurpg very soon (I think he said perhaps by 10/28 but there may be some technical difficulties). Any how, I'll be getting a copy.

One problem with it, it's clearly meant to be a digest (half letter or so) size item, but has a full page margin. I ran into something else like that, recently, at DTRPG, but can't remember what. Otherwise, it looks good.

Very good, and even more fun when run as a GModerated adventure. I'd swear I read a shorter version of this, perhaps in the long gone and much lamented Sorcerer's Apprentice?
As for the "digest size," it's ideal for a tablet and probably more readable on a phone. That's where the market is going, folks.

The problem here is that it's a digest-sized layout sitting in the middle of a full-size page: three of the margins are far larger than they should be. Consequently, PDF readers in 'phones and tablets won't necessarily display it conveniently. I read a lot of PDFs on my' phone and this one isn't easy to read unless I extract the text. I mentioned it to Ken (his recent PDF about playing solos has the same issue, but other Trollhalla Press products have been fine) and he's checking with his editor to see what has happened.

And, I like digest size. I wasn't complaining about that. It might be an issue with the watermarking system at DriveThru. It doesn't like something in the file, so it mangles it, somehow. Anyhoo, I've been juggling enough hot irons in the fire, while spinning plates on them, to give this more than a look.

I guess I'm lucky. Using EZpdfreader, just 2 taps make it size to screen size.

Well, the file was updated, but don't trash the old one. The last paragraph of section 29 is missing, except for the first word ("IF").

Not yet. I am finding myself in a lack of days off.

Not yet. I am finding myself in a lack of days off. OK, I've sent him a message about it. UPDATE: Ken kindly got back to me after downloading a copy from Drivethrurpg: his is apparently fine. However, I checked for updated files in my Drivethrurpg library and the version I downloaded is indeed missing the final paragraph of section 29. No idea why this is the case, but Ken says he'll personally send a corrected copy to any buyers who get in touch with him.

That just confirms my feeling that this may be a DTRPG issue. The watermark system does strange things to some PDFs.

Looks like the latest update has fixed the formatting and the missing paragraph.
