Oh yeah! I’ve been waiting a long time for this supplement! Just bought my copy. Read through it and it's different than I expected. But it is a cool hodge podge of different rules and ideas. I really appreciated that Ken said that Champions and Marvel Superheroes (two of the most prominent superhero rpgs in 1985) probably handle superheroes better than T&T can. That being said, there are some great concepts and discussion ideas in this booklet. As a long time Superhero RPG guy (I ran many Champions games in the 80s and 90s) I have longed for a mergence of T&T (which has become my go to game in recent years) and the supers genre. I'm still not sure how I'll use this booklet, but it will get mined for material on some level. At the very least I can see an unwitting super getting ported to Troll World for some adventures. Of course, a super would be OP for much of the intro adventures. But, some of the higher stuff would definitely be a challenge for a lone super. Will I ever run a T&T 4 Color super game? Maybe as a one shot. It would be fun to experiment with at the least. I can foresee some splicing in some stuff from Champions and other games though. We'll see. Much food for thought here!
I get the impression that this is being done, at least in part, to curtail bootlegging and piracy of the original (or what's is name's knockoff), so you may be right. Still and all, it's a neat thing to see.
