I happened upon a blog at saunby.com from a fellow who said he was working on a steampunk setting for T&T which he dubbed "Steam Trolls" where "...airships cruise lazily overhead, the common masses are rioting, and it's always foggy and wet in the morning with the occasional killing fog".
He did produce a very nice steampunk'ish character sheet for this setting. But I can't find anything else. Does anyone know if any other documents were produced for this setting? It sounds quite intriguing.
Right now, I'm reading through Kyrinn Eis's excellent setting, Porphyry, as a possible steampunk/pulp setting. Which, in and of itself is probably more than sufficient. But I'm also very curious as to how any other authors may have approached such a setting using T&T rules. So, I guess what I'm looking for is any T&T material that has a steampunk/pulp orientation (to whatever degree). I've actually been wanting to combine these elements with superowers but I can add this final ingredient later. Any input on this is greatly appreciated.
Addendum: So, I just discovered a setting book called Kerberos Club which has been previously unknown to me. It is set in the Victorian Age where super powers exist but characters do not wear tights and are often the outcasts/misfits of society, at odds with the Orwellian'ish government and a plethora of antagonists. it seems to combine steampunk and some pulp elements with the superhero genre. The characters do not wear tights (thank goodness!) and apparently belong to a secret adventurer's club. This setting sounds perfect in tone and flavor. I'm not likely to use the actual Victorian Earth as my setting. But I might borrow heavily from the contents. The home brew is slowly coming together.
