Iulius pulls on the rope 1 time again to signal that he wants a cautious look around, using the signal system that was determined before dumfis went down. He doesnt want to shout up to the party until he's sure the coast is clear.
[OOC: awaiting an all clear from seandon4 that there arent any immediate creatures lurking in the room]

Iulius lands unharmed on the stone floor, which is covered in one inch layer of dust. All is very still and quiet among the contents of the room. The most immediate surroundings are the stone spikes and mangled remains of adventurers, which show no sign of anything of value. From this spot, the images on the walls and the doors are barely visible on the sides of the room.

Iulius carefully walks around the room, scanning for traps, trip wires or loose stonework on the floor, being careful not to touch anything. In particular, he's looking for possible exits from the room and especially, possible entrances where bad guys can come in from.
Once he's done with this cursory search, assuming nothing bad happens to him, he will then go back to the rope and report to the party that the coast is clear. He will let them know that they should start their descent to the room, so that there will be some members of the party to afford cover to the others who are more thoroughly searching the room.

More at home in the mines of his native land than sliding down ropes, Telfur makes one last check of the knot before hauling himself over the edge and holding tight starts to carefully climb/slip into the gloomy pit.
Iulius takes a guard stance in the center of the room, offering cover, expecting that some of the party will search the room more thoroughly. He is scanning for any movement near the doorways in case the party is attacked.
Funbunkle helps and encourages while also examining walls and the floor for anything out of the ordinary. "I did my best to forget about these dungeon moments but they do say lightning never strikes the same place four times..."
