"Very good, very very good!". "I think we have a winner friends." "We should have 1 or 2 work to remove the armor, and the rest of us stand ready in case the deceased is not of the mind to give it up."
Dumfis will stay on guard while the others remove it.
OOC: Could we get the spec's on the armor so we can decide who can wear it until we finish the adventure?

Funklebun joins in, rather tunelessly, and offers to lift the shirt out.

The group carefully removes the shiny back-and-breast from the skeleton... the skeleton remains lifeless within.
[OOC: The armor would appear to be able to take one more hit or two beyond one's average back-and-breast. Though allowing so may reduce its value, which currently could be worth upwards to twice as much as the average equivalent.]

"I propose friend Lorendiac wears the armor, not only will it help him in his weakened state, but will make it easier for us to fight, not having to carry it." "Sorry friend Lorendiac, but could you be our mule for your own sake?"

'It'll give us all an extra incentive not to let Lorendiac get hit as well, if he's wearing expensive armour, not that we wouldn't wouldn't protect him anyway...'

"let's get on with this. We are taking up too much time here." Funklebun tuts to himself.

Telfur nods. " If it fits you well enough Lorendiac, then put it on and let's move on to the next room."

Addressing the chained center coffin "Well friend, whoever put you to rest wanted you to stay that way and who are we to ague with that, so .... Bye". "Let us be off to the next room Sahibs". With that Dumfis will take one last walk around the room looking at the walls and floors as he heads for the door.

Lorendiac equips the sturdy back-and-breast with perhaps some sense of added protection. Dumfis finds nothing else of concern in the immediate room. With the help of Lazarus's magical ability to open locked doors, the remaining room becomes accessible... The floor is very dusty; cobwebs cover -- and in some cases, totally obscure -- the niches along the north, west, and south walls of this room. Someone or something appears to be standing in each niche... but it's hard to make out exactly what, at least until closer inspection.

Despite my personal knowledge of this fellow, I vote "yes!"

Funklebun assesses the cobwebs. "Worth a burn, do you think, lads?'

Lorendiac lights one of his torches on Funklebun's beard and sweeps it around the cobwebs.
