[OOC: Although it's not explicit by the descriptions, I'm assuming everyone with a missile weapon got in one (more) shot.]
The hobblin Lazarus follows up with his arrow and hits! The arrow blasts through one side of a zombie's head and shoulder. The zombie slumps to the floor. But its arm uses its fingers to crawl around the ground aimlessly...
Our (even more) dwarf Funklebun of 2' tall, doesn't quite manage to hit any of them with a torch; but upon setting a line of torches on the ground of the narrow hall, the zombies pause in their tracks for a moment as the torches burn and smoke on the ground.
Dumfis will use his final javelin as a pole to try and push atleast one of the torches closer to the zombie nearest to try and set it on fire. Worst case he'll use his javelin as a poor man's spear and ram it into the nearest zombie.
"xz&@£$*" Telfur swears loudly in an ancient dwarf dialect as his second stone misses the mark. As the red mist descends, he snatches up his pickaxe and leaping over any torches in his way, charges the nearest zombie with every intention of parting its head from its body. "KAZAAAADDDDD!" He screams as he approaches the undead fiend.
Dumfis pushes the torch closer to the nearest one, but for lack of fuel or oil, it does not ignite. Nevertheless, the zombie steps back, as if confused or fearful of fire. With the zombie off-guard Dumfis has the chance to step up; he spears it through its head! After which, the zombie slumps to the ground and squirms helplessly.
Meanwhile the arm from the first zombie that was blasted apart by Lazarus's arrow continues to use its fingers to crawl around the ground in random directions.
Firing from further back in the marching order, Lorendiac's stone bounces off the third zombie. It's not enough to blast the zombie apart, but enough to disoriented it...
While it's off-guard, the two dwarfs, Telfur and Funklebun follow-up, charging into melee with their pickaxes in hand, take on the third zombie and pummel it to the ground! The smashed body parts of the zombie flop against their feet.
One zombie remains in the back of the room... but with the entire group of heroes having the advantage, the zombie no longer pose much of a threat and is easily overtaken.
[OOC: joelmarler Yep it's 2d6 + your DEX for missile. And if you rolled doubles you can normally add and roll again!]
[OOC: Clever use of torch fire, giving everyone an advantage in the fight. The room is now free to explore.]

Prodding about the remains of the zombies, sadly Lorendiac finds no gold among them.
Each niche is either empty, from which one of the four zombies emerged; or if not one of those niches, it instead contains another lifeless skeleton guardian.
Funklebun out of the corner of his eye, and only for an instance, sees one of the skeleton guards wearing a gnome hat... but upon looking again, he sees no such hat; surely, he must have been mistaken... nevertheless, he can't shake this feeling that gnomes have been by here.
Telfur, on the other hand, notices something seems off about far west wall...
