Telfur says, "Stay close Funbunkle, we'll lead the way." And holding his torch high in his left hand, and his pickaxe in his right, pushes the door open with the end of the pickaxe, before slowly advancing into the room beyond. He holds himself ready to react to whatever he sees and is slightly crouched as he walks forward with his pickaxe now held in position primed to swing.
The east room is circular. It appears untouched and unlooted. Velvet hangings cover the walls. A huge block of stone sits in the middle of the room. It looks to be about 20 feet wide, 40 feet long, and 10 feet high.
The block is ornately carved, and upon its top crouches a life-sized status of a polar bear!
On the side of the block closest the entrance of the room, is a 4'x4' silver-plated panel.

Telfur only spots Lazarus's probing fingers at the last moment and is too late to stop him touching the panel. "Hhhrrr", he makes a disparaging noise and gives the hoblin a hard stare. "The first rule of delving according to the great dwarven knight Sir Archbold of Spraat, 'Eyes first and foremost, hands last and least!' Perhaps we should have inspected that plaque before we went and touched it!", he opines in a harsh whisper while gripping his pickaxe just that little bit tighter.
Iulius is intently watching the statue of the polar bear for any sort of movement or enchantment, with his sword drawn and at the ready. After battling with inanimate skeletons, he is taking nothing for granted.
