By chance, I was asked today about #10...
So, what's the temperature of the water? Is the enthusiasm there? Shall we press the button and initiate launch sequence?
Can't be quite as daunting this time!

OK - not much response but I'm not fooled The Magic Portals of Trollzinium are open to merchants bearing adventures, artwork, puzzles, articles and miscellany!

By chance, I was asked today about #10... So, what's the temperature of the water? You had to ask after this weekend. 115 degrees Fahrenheit. August in Rosenberg where the swimming pools boil lobsters.

Can't be quite as daunting this time! Apologies khaboom for suggesting it might be time for the next edition and then leaving you alone in the echoing void of the Trollbridge over a busy holiday weekend in the UK. As per usual, I'm up to contribute in whatever way I can from editing to solo-writing or even producing some more illustrations. I'm sure many others will offer their talents to produce Trollszine 10 with you at the helm. Some people might say that the last issue was almanac-sized and should count as 2, so the next edition ought to be Trollszine XI Seriously, though, I don't think you need to make the next one as big as the last. I wonder what the rest of our trollish brethren think on this point?

I'm a fan of the idea of khaboom doing #10. As for the size, I'd say that's up to the editor, since he's the one who has to do the hard yards of putting it all together...

I'll have to echo Darrght with the apologies, Khaboom. Life's been a bit too interesting of late. I'll be happy to offer my services as proofreader/copy editor, as usual. As for volume size, I'll leave that up to your discretion. As Mahrundl points out, you're the one doing the heavy lifting.

Thanks, Trollwarts. (I'm corrupting 'stalwarts' here but I think it may need explanation!) Last time, I inherited a bunch of material, got more offers and specifically wanted certain contributions. Hence the blow-out. This time I shall take more of an Al Stewart approach ('If it doesn't come naturally, leave it' for those who remember the 'Year of the Cat' album of many moons ago. I shall sit back and see who responds with material to begin with. I can hear those pens and pencils working, those fingers flitting over keys...

Hi, I belatedly greatly welcome this news. I do have an old article I did that was published in Hobbit Hole, and also appears on this board. It is a random magic item generation table. I would love for it to reach the wider audience of the Trollszine.
I also did an extensive treatment of using T&T for Earthdawn, with sub classes and new types. If there is any appetite for that I could do some work on making it usable in a magazine.

Hey Piper! Good to hear from you To tell the truth, I have heard very little from anyone wanting to contribute. I've just got home to New Zealand after a 8 month overseas trip so I'm ready to think about this again. I have a solo to contribute and I am setting Dungeon of the Bear (by Bear Peters) up on Roll20 and could give a report on that. I hesitate to contribute more myself... What did you have in mind? If I get enough content offered I will contact Jeff Freels about a cover.

Hey Piper! [snip] What did you have in mind?
First of all, thank you!
I'm thinking of a crossword puzzle, 15 x 15 grid with easy to moderate clues of T&T and FRPG themed answers (though I'll likely have to bring in mundane words, too). I'll be frank, I've never attempted anything on that scale with regard to crossword puzzles, but I thought it would be fun to try.

I'm still willing to submit my Dungeon BINGO article, and I don't mind making revisions if you have any suggestions.

Please do send anything through to me and I will start seeking some artwork to accompany the words.

If I get enough content offered I will contact Jeff Freels about a cover. This alone would cause me to contribute something finite.
