Congrats, Piper! Don't wallow in the goring details, just remember reincarnation is only a pencil away. Thanks for thr encouragement Professor. I have an old school laissez-faire attitude regarding character death. “He’s dead? Someone pass me 3d6, please.”

If you get to that point in a game? Urine trouble, indeed!

Okay, so I have 9900 AP to spend on my 3rd level Dwarf Warrior character.
My lowest scores are DEX 8 and LK is only 9. My highest scores are CON and SPD at 30 each. STR is 24.
I'm thinking of increasing LK and CON. What do veteran players think of this?

Okay, I had to go ahead and punt but I'd still love to hear your input if you're so inclined.

Considering you're playing dT&T, I think the choice you made is fine. In earlier editions, a low DEX or LK would provide penalties to your Combat Adds at a rate of -1 for every step below 9. Personally, I like to try and balance my strengths/weaknesses. I bolster my strengths to play to my character concept and I try to minimize weaknesses to mitigate potential problems. In this case, I'd probably have done the same as you to 1) increase CON to increase survivability and 2) increase LK because so many SRs are made against it. Saving Rolls have broadened out in later editions and modules to include most attributes but LK is still a classic go-to. Another way to go, here, depending on character concept, is to bolster both CON and STR. "Man, that dwarf is so clumsy and unlucky it has to be a wizards curse. But, boy! Can he hit hard and he sure can take a beating!" Just because an attribute is low doesn't mean the character is unplayable. Why is the stat so low? Come up with an in-game reason and have fun with it. I played a faerie wizard here on the Trollbridge in DoctorX's Isle of Faerie game whose INT was too low to cast even first level spells. DoctorX and I kicked around a few ideas and came up with a decent backstory and included a LK SR vs. Spell Level mechanic (From 7th ed, i think?) to make it work. WhisperFlick was a fun character to play. I miss that game. So, there's really no wrong choice here. The real question is, "Are you having fun?"

I'm having a great deal of fun. I was just hoping to avoid a n00b mistake, but applied the best understanding of the game I had. I made him stronger, more hale, luckier, and bit more dexterous. So he can hit a bit harder and take a bit more of a hit.
Next? When possible I need to upgrade his armour.
