Well hello fellow Trolls. I hope you had a good break and time for some gaming.
I hope you have a happy & healthy 2020. We lost Rick Loomis in 2019, but there are many other heroes carrying forward his mantle, and I look to reading of your play and ideas in the new year, here and elsewhere.

Ideas have their own lives, and hopefully good ideas live on much longer -- play some T&T!
I'll say that having run T&T for others a few times now and wanting to get more gaming in 2020, I think T&T is going to be my system of choice and I am excited and hopeful for the year in gaming ahead!

A new star is born in the heavens whenever Hell Bombburst is cast! Speaking of, recently I gave a member of my group 22 Hellbombs (from the Item!Item! lists... Yes, THOSE Hellbombs. So she had one of her Orc characters throw one of them at a Fire Dragon day before yesterday, while most of the party sheltered behind a Wall of Stone. What do you guys think should happen to the Giantess member of the party (30' high). She WAS a fair distance from the now disintegrated Flamer... |

I feel order99 would have some great insight on this, it sounds right up his alley. From my perspective, I would think giving the giantess a piercing of dragon fang/claw would be pretty neat and rather apropos. Shrapnel, y'know?   |

About to embark on a new T&T campaign featuring an archer. I'm thinking he/she can have the elf dex mod without having to be an elf. Still too hard to hit very much so...
1) replacing L1 (20) with L0 (15) ie dropping all SRs by 5 (given that is still all GM judgement)
and
2) use advantage/disadvantage

Good luck! dT&T rules for archers are a lot more forgiving than 5e. The ability to count damage as part of the combat total on a miss means the only real penalty archers have is no shields. |
